No, it is for the Mac. iOS and iPadOS lack a menu bar, for one thing. But also sandboxing between apps would mean many of these features would be impossible.

Love your Clipboard Manager. I can honestly say that I haven't even started to get into all of its functions. However, I do know that the Paste Date and Paste Date & Time function get abused (LOL) on a daily basis while I am at work. That one function alone is just simply a life and time saver for me. Thank you Gary!

Love this so much that I deleted all my other clipboard managers on my my Mac and replaced it with ClipTools. It is so good that it begs the question...Do you have plans for iOS and PadOS versions of your app with iCloud syncing across platforms? Yes. Yes. I understand. Give me an arm and I take a leg. But really, this is much more a compliment about your software development rather than greediness. ☺️

Using this has been interesting! It reminds me of Maccy. Same global shortcut with a lot more features in ClipTools. I do like the feature in Maccy that allows you to control where the menu dialog appears. Looking up again and again on a large monitor when you have to copy and paste a lot of things can get tedious.

Love this app, Gary! Thank you for making it available to us. :) If ever you are taking requests for it, it would be great if we could right-click the word, and get the ability to remove, plain text, ... instead of doing the keyboard keys. I never remember them and need to try them all till I get the right one. But I can put up with that as the app is great! :)

Would it be possible to include the "paste as human typing" feature in a future update? It would be a useful addition for users who want to simulate natural typing behavior when pasting text into documents or messages. Thank you for considering this suggestion.

Great job, Gary! Thanks for putting in the effort to create this excellent app. I noticed that it doesn't work with images, only text. Is this intentional, or am I doing something wrong? If it's not intentional, do you have any plans to add this feature in the future?

No, sorry, ClipTools is for Mac. iPadOS doesn't allow for these sorts of utilities.

You mean images? No. ClipTools specializes in text.

I loaded the clips tool and I like it that it won’t stay in the top menu bar? When I come back to use my laptop it’s gone and I have to load it from applications again. How do I keep it there permanently? BTW great channel, and thank you for the wonderful assistance you provide.

Are you restarting your Mac? If so, you need to relaunch it after restart like any other app. But if you look in Settings, there is an option to start it automatically.

Apple Music is an online streaming service. You wouldn't download files and put them on a flash drive. You would just connect your iPhone to your car and then stream anything you want. You can also pre-download songs for when you are driving through an area with bad service.

Wonderful. If you're not happy with what is out there, make an app yourself. It appears that there are a bit too many choices for me and maybe others at my level. But, presumably one can grow with use. I actually prefer menu to hot-keys. The big appeal of using your app is that you explain it well. Often it seems that app developers might be brilliant designers but are less than stellar in their explanations of how to use their inventions. I value customer service, especially after-sales. Now, if Cliptools truly is free then I can't expect technical support. But maybe becoming a Patreon supporter won't hurt. For all I know your support page of steps will prove useful enough. Question: will this work in most/all apps such as Word, Notes etc? *** Please ignore my comment and question on the support page. I watched your Vimeo video and quickly learned that unlike most apps I am used to, the app appears above, not below. There is no big icon on the bottom, at least not by default ***

What are you trying to do, exactly?

@@macmost It is only a very slight niggle, but with windows version of the snip tool. You can put the image straight into cash so you can paste straightaway. With the Mac version, you have to save it or click copy before you paste.

@@FizzzieCat Cash? Do you mean the clipboard? You can certainly do the same with the tool on the Mac. Command+Shift+5 and then choose Options and select Clipboard, for instance.

@@macmost thanks for that, I’m new to the Mac ecosystem, that is an improvement, but what would be the gold standard is if the functionality of Command + Shift + 4 but goes straight to cache like Command + Shift + 5

@@FizzzieCat Do you mean skip the floating thumbnail/markup step? That's an option there too. Turn off Show Floating Thumbnail.
