I lived in Clitheroe from birth to age 29 when I left to live in Scotland. I miss it as it holds many happy memories for me. The house prices there now are extortionate and it is severely over populated. Its a shame how all nice places get destroyed over time.

To my mind, Clitheroe is the best town in the entire world. I was really happy there for eleven years, and furthermore, I'm looking forward to moving back there in April or May of next year, i.e. 2120.

2120 would be 101 years - by which time Clitheroe might have the appearance of a place from 2020.

This is a stunning town, loads of high end pubs and restaurants, it extremely desirable. A must visit, much nicer than this makes out.

Clitheroe is a lovely town is one of the greatest places to visit in fact I actually live in clitheroe and I really love it the town is such an amazing town it’s got Clitheroe Castle which I love and I actually been up there and the view up at the castle is just amazing everything you see up there is just amazing you can see the whole town and the countryside that’s why I love Clitheroe

Excellent filming of the area - lived in Whalley for fourteen years and seen it gradually destroyed as is Clitheroe and Barrow - huge amounts of housing developments with no infrastructure ! No new schools or GP surgeries - the expansion of the night time economy has led to an increase in anti social behaviour and drug misuse ! Local people haven’t benefited as dont go into Whalley anymore because of drunken behaviour of people who come in by mini bus loads in Summer - only people benefiting are property developers and bar owners How this level of housing was allowed is amazing or incompetence by planning dept ?

It would be nice if there were a good railway connection to Skipton: but the service between Clitheroe and Hellifield has never yet been re-established, even though trains go up and down the line all the time. This would be the *easiest* Trans-Pennine route to _re-establish_ along the entire Pennine chain. All it takes is extending the existing Manchester-Clitheroe service to terminate at Hellifield instead. Then it would become possible to travel directly from York to Clitheroe for the first time since 1969. And give Harrogate some much needed traffic relief.

A good road network to Preston isn't necessarily a selling point. Since when are Aldi and Lidl classed as being in the high quality supermarkets bracket? "Variety of cocktail bars" - as he shows a group with just coffee cups and the relatively inelegant word 'Brewery' at the front.

What do you expect though ... It is what it is if more people didn't move there then it wouldn't have such nice developments of the local bars and amenities. The area isn't even over crowded people just love to moan, if you work your whole life and choose to live in clitheroe then you aren't any more entitled to live there than any other people its a free country surely. If someone from clitheroe moves elsewhere in the country or the world are they overcrowding somewhere else then? Clearly the population is growing and some people just hate anyone other than themselves having a nice place to live which is you. Just doesn't really make sense what you're saying Maybe more people are living there because people over the years have spent there life savings on renovating buildings in the area therefore making the area more desirable for people who live there since birth or moved from elsewhere I suppose people like yourself are happy to take advantage of other peoples hard work though.

Lol, he didn't show any images of a single actually "gridlocked" road, just cars stopped at traffic lights and junctions etc. as they're supposed to be, with the other traffic clearly moving as normal. I don't think he knows what the word gridlocked means!
