What do you do if you turn the key too far and it gets stuck and won't turn back?

Where can I purchase a Kwik set key and security pins

I know there aren't any listed on the website (seems like there aren't any outside of Aus/NZ) but have you got any of the 83AL in Orange that might not be listed? Core, no core, whatever shackle length, I'm not picky. It seems like a few of Abus' color options are just pure unobtainium in the US. Also many thanks from the east coast. Nothing you've ever sent me has taken more than three days to arrive barring the big Lab .003 kit that I'm sure you had to special order. Absolutely love doing business with you folks.

What if you dont know the key number? Do you just have to put the pins in by trial and error until they are flush with the top?

The big kit has a tool you can use to measure the grooves in the key to see what size pins it will take.

@@clksupplies I spent 3 days trying to figure out how to make a "control" key for a Yale core for an ABUS 83. I stumbled across this video and couldn't believe how simple it was to change the core. I had been making Schlage control keys using an SC4 key blank and assumed that I needed to do something similar for the Yale. I only needed a phillips head screwdriver. Thanks so much.

What if you want to cut a "new different" key?? Also i want it to have aggressive high/Low biting & hardened "security" Pins? Any idea how much it will cost if i bring just the cylinder & blank key to a Locksmith?? Thank You 😁

I have a cheap key cutting machine and a set of depth keys and design my own keys with aggressive bitting. I also use the Yale Y1 keyway because it is narrow and has a nice warding pattern. #lockboss

Abus makes padlocks you can open with a zero-bitted key? That’s a complete design fail
