I didn't import opacity map from Clo to substance painter. You need to make sure you are using a black and white image in the correct channel

@@digitalfashionblender i understand i made a denim pant with parka top in denim i use UV technique for denim texture and top is twill type of material in denim pant have side stone so when i export i made 3 UDIM in clo and export as alembic and import in substance painter and making texture after export from substance painter import in blender the alembic animated mesh and texture from substance painter . I made a new material for mesh and import by node wrangler and selected image as UDIM denim pant getting texture ok but top part is showing pink i am really in dipressed could you please help me regarding this please

@@mohammadbishalahmed8784 don't go directly from Clo3D to blender. I explain why I fix things in blender first. You only need 1 material slot if you have 3 udim tiles. @@digitalfashionblender i didnt go directly clo3D to blender, i made cloth in clo then making texture in clo like UV denim and top adding fabric and color then for stone i import these in substance painter making stone color and then import in blender

Hi! Have you tried to express the fur texture in Blender? If not, would it be possible to work on Blender the same as Clo3d?

Fur in blender is made using the particle system and the hair emitter setting. I'll make a video explaining this soon enough :)

Hi, thanks a lot for your great tutorials. I have a transparent dress exported from CLO but this method doesnt make it transparent in Blender for me, I tried many times and I cant find the error. Do you have an idea? I have the set up exactly like you

If you are using blender cycles as your render engine and simply lower the value of the 'Alpha' slider in the BSDF shader the garment will become transparent. If you have image textures for opacity make sure they are set to non-color in the color space and that they are connected to the Alpha socket of the BSDF shader. If you are using EEVE then follow the steps in the video to make sure you have the set up correct in the material settings. Given that you do this correctly then the transparency will always work on render mode and material preview mode. In smooth shaded mode the transparency won't be active.

I have another issue with the animation loop in blender - I did your tutorial with the hat and baggy pants and I did exactly what you said but the loop doesnt work properly - what can be some possible errors causing? I am on a really tight deadline and need urgent help :( Thanks so so much!!!

Because I have a lot more control over the way the fabric looks by using substance painter and blender. Substance is built for texturing, where Clo isn't. I always make my final shader for the material in blender - again to have the most control :)

@@leankxxi9560 this dress took me about half an hour to make. But it really depends on the project and level of detail. I've been working with 3D and started using clo since 2018, starting with blender and substance in 2019/2020. It just takes practice but I did have existing knowledge as a pattern maker that speeds things up in Clo a lot :)
