With the return of Cloak and Dagger let us discuss the true power cloak from the television show. Tyrone is a lot more powerful than many people are willing to admit. Tyrone draws his power from the Darkforce which is ran by an inter-dimensional demon and Tandy draws her power from the Light force. marivil61 I did say that in the video Ty is using the dark force but the predator is able to manipulate the dark force and munipulate others. Also, the predator does to some extent have involvement with his powers, the hunger that cloak feels is in direct response to the predator (in the dimension where the predator is supreme). But also there has been some retconning done to this as well so I’m going with what was initially depicted in marvel before changes were made.

Budget, man. The writers have done an INCREDIBLE job with a very limited budget, I'm actually abit stunned. The storytelling carried the show, really, unlike a lot of superhero shows that focus on cool effects, this one focuses on their journey. So that even though they don't necessarily have such grande sets of scenarios, every little victory counts. I'm obsessed with the dhow, hope Disney revives it.

I would say check it out, it isn't amazing but it has it's moments. I would say do it if you plan on watching season 2 or if the second season interest you.

The show got cancelled because they took developing and showing their powers. Probably, halfway through season 1 they have revealed the true extent of their powers.

They need to focus more on the comic book storylines. They aren't even a couple yet or have their costumes. The comic book is definitely better !!!!!!

The comics are better, they not only introduce concepts better but just overall how their story unravels is a lot more compelling and better paced.

I disagree, I would love to see Tyrone in a REAL cloak like in the comic book. An Tandy God could you imagine her in the suit from the comic book. Even Olivia said she would love to wear that suit. Maybe it's me but I would love that.

Kendel Titi Don’t give me wrong I enjoy the show but there were some episodes that I feel like we could’ve done a little bit more with and also they’re trying to cram so much into just 10 episodes. I believe they need to extended three episodes to really get the pacing right and being able to tell the story a lot more efficiently

The origin of Cloak & Dagger has changed. In the comics they were both junkies hooked on heroin (I think). Someone was experimenting on junkies with a new drug and these two were the only ones to survive and they obviously gained their abilities. I assume the origin told in this video is what was created for the tv show.

I thought they were runaways and met someone that took them in. The guy was giving runaways drugs that eventually killed them, but instead of killing these two, it awakened the latent mutant abilities of Tyrone and Tandy. I don’t remember them being junkies.

@@atlien1988 I’m going off of memory. I bought the original limited series in summer of 85 I was 11/12 so my memory may be fuzzy. I don’t remember them being mutants. I thought whatever was done to the drugs gave them power but I could be mistaken. I really need to grab my collection from my parents house.

They could pace the show a little better but it wasn't terrible, they focused so much on the character build and saved the plot pay off until the very last minute
