I love theses two. Cloak and Dagger have been some of my favorite characters since I was little. However this was in my opinion a good idea that went bad. I thought it was a great and dramatic entrance for the characters. It was the moment they started speaking that killed it for me. The dialogue was soooo bad, and not realistic in anyway. The way they just drop every bit of information about what happened in their show, and how dagger was like "How about I jump inside your head and take a look at your deepest hopes." made me cringe so hard. I was so disappointed. It was hyped up to be this big thing, and then it went downhill fast. I have to be honest and say that I've read fanfiction that had better dialogue, character development and interaction in it than this. I love these characters and whole heartedly hope that they either bring this version of the characters into the MCU, or when the MCU creates their own version of the characters, I hope that they use these actors, because they are great and did the characters justice. I just wished this crossover had turned out better.

They should’ve brought in the actual writers from Cloak & Dagger’s show. Y’know, to avoid that cringe line (Tandy or Tyrone would never openly explain their hope and fear-viewing abilities, lmao) and to work with the writers on Runaways to give them an actual part and role in the crossover. It felt like it could’ve been done without them, but it was nice to see them one final time.

@@masontalarico7090 C & D are definitely my favourite superhero/vigilante duo (with Cloak being one of favourite black superheroes) and my favourite relationship in comics. I was stoked when I found out they were getting their own show and that they were crossing over to Runaways, but the crossover was underwhelming. The beauty about Ty and Tandy is that they can appear anywhere (especially after their second season where they help people around the world) and meet any Marvel superhero and it makes sense, but the plot has to be right. All Ty and Tandy did was provide fast transportation for Nico. But, I do hope the two make a return either in the movies with the Avengers or on Disney + somewhere.

@@JERR_. 100 percent agree. (piggybacking on what you said about cloak being black) I think that cloak & and dagger as a couple brings good representation. When it comes to interracial couples most movies show white man and black woman.(my girlfriend is black so I'm not against😂) but rarely does media show a black man and a white woman together, and when it does its not really considered a good thing. Another cool aspect about cloak & dagger is that you can throw them literally anywhere. They are awesome street heroes taking on human/drug traffickers, but you can also throw them into a doctor strange, or an avengers movie and it still would work. I have to say hands down they are two of the most useful, and coolest heroes marvel has to offer, and if the MCU decides not to use this version of the characters, I just pray they bring back the same actors.

@@masontalarico7090 The only ones I can think of at the top of my head where a white woman dates a black man in superhero media besides Cloak & Dagger is Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, Alex and Nico (which was way too short, imo), and Wally and Jesse in the Flash series, but they all failed when they had potential, sadly. Tandy and Tyrone were getting somewhere before the plug was pulled. Even the showrunner said the door for their romantic relationship was open in Season 3. And c’mon, their name is the Divine Pairing. Their relationship would’ve been beautiful like their friendship.

As much as the Teen side of the MCU doesn't get much love, it does carry alot of connections. Like Cloak's reference to King Arthur. Ok I know this might be crazy to predict but what if he gets brought in at a later time? I mean Black Knight is confirmed thanks to Eternals! But in order to find out how he got got the Ebony Blade it would make sense to include him and tie in his history with Morgan Le Fay. Also not to leave out Sister Grimm herself, who is getting a solo series that is in the works should become Wong and Strange's student so she can truly unlock the full potential of the Staff Of One. You gotta love the world building the MCU/MCM does. 🙌❤

I think one of the reasons runaways didn't quite hit the same as the comics is it takes itself a little too seriously. The original comics were a little bit satirical. the whole thing was dripping with tropes in a way that was downright silly.
