Man it's good to see you play this but I can't get over how much recycling is being done here! I didn't notice when I played this YEARS ago but I'm hearing DMC sound effects everywhere now lol. Also for anyone curious the acting is 100% on purpose. It's meant to be in the style of some type of Asian TV or Theatre or something along those lines.

On that note with games being scary or not its similar to old horror movie like Frankenstein ect. When ww2 happend people didn't find that scary anymore after the horrors of war. But just because people didn't find it scary anymore doesn't mean it wasnt at some point. Like this game sure maybe not the scariest now but then it was scary af.

Try that final boss fight on new game plus... He shoots three of those purple things at a time, in a shotgun style spread, those red blobs are twice as big, he moves faster, and not to mention that sword is a huge serrated monster of a blade.... Capcom really needs to make a ground up remake of this game, like they're doing with all the Resident Evils, it really was a great, underrated piece of art. Personally, my only criticism, was that all the characters moved and danced around like they're in a ballet during cutscenes.

3:27:20 - Omg, yeah, I saw Nitro Rad's video on the Clock Tower games, esp. Clock Tower 2 and it's so outrageous what can go wrong and what one can miss there and getting locked out of finishing the game :/ Night Cry is also bad, but CT2 is on a whole other level. NC is at least great meme material. Love Ecdycis videos about it all as well.

Is that the insanely glitchy PS3 port which every subsequent release has been based on and has broken further in some way, or the original Xbox 360 version that was mostly bugless and had extra interesting features like Silent Hill-esque fixed camera angles that were taken out in each later iteration for who knows why?

Maybe I'm smarter than i think I am but I didn't have any problem following Signalis? And I didn't even start paying close attention until after you tried to open the hatch the last time. I don't understand the why but I understand what happened at the end. Also imo this games boss fights are awful - they introduce specific mechanics you can only try to master during a boss fight. Back in the day I got to the last boss on here and didn't understand how the stun / stagger worked and never finished the game because if it lol. I love this game but the boss fights suck and I find myself replaying the first two games instead of this one when I want to play Clocktower. I think a remake of CT1 could be awesome
