AMAZING game...I knew so few people that had even heard about it back in 97 when I discovered this. It's so funny to me how inept Scissorman is sometimes, compared to the times he is almost clairvoyant haha. I would take this over most modern games honestly. The voice acting doesn't bother me at all since this is what I grew up with as a kid. Also another funny part I forgot about this game is how easy/difficult Scissorman is to "incapacitate". For example one way is in the castle at the end when you go out the door to nowhere. Obviously he's super human so he survives and is able to teleport (as is implied in the first game). Anyways, there are instances in this game where he is defeated by THE BED SHEET OF DOOM!! Yes throwing a bed sheet defeats him in some rooms of different parts. It's so funny because he lets out a howl likes it hurt him LOL..

Bed sheets are the ultimate weapon against monsters, ghosts and demons because they are blessed by god himself. That's why we hide behind them when we are scared, we don't know if it will work for sure, but the blessing makes us feel safe so we may aswell try it. I have absolutely no proofs to prove this, but nobody can convince me otherwise.

Also I didn’t realize the voice actor for Jennifer here is the same one that voices Miku from Fatal Frame. I thought she sounded familiar

Still one of the greatest horror games in the PS1 era. The fact that this point-and-click game isn't over the top with the horror helps greatly. Sunsoft really should consider bringing Clock Tower back into the mainstream.

Soooo... Scissorman was a ten year old boy the whole time. But in the original, he was supposed to be a deformed child, now he's just wearing a mask... I'm confused, but great game nonetheless.

Danny's original form, the giant deformed fetus, was actually a cocoon of sorts made up of all the victims, and when Jennifer burned that body in CT1, his "true" form (Edward) rose from those ashes. It's explained in the Clock Tower wiki FYI.

To play as Helen, either talk to Harris once in the Uni corridor in the Prologue or don't engage him at all. If you click him twice, he will mention Jennifer, hence Jennifer becomes the protagonist.

@@brittanydelacruz7281 The director said in background notes that Nolan waited until Jennifer was 16 before they actually dated - the AoC in Norway (where they live) is 16, and if you notice, Jennifer was the one to initiate the "date" and the kiss at the end of the game. However, because of their different maturity levels and the age gap, the relationship between them fizzled out and cooled to a mere friendship, so it didn't last long. The true Pee-Dohs in the game were Harris (who is 35) who actually tried to R@pe Jennifer in her scenario and Kay (aged 26) who developed a lust for Edward/Dan who had a beautiful angelic face. Ed/Dan realised her lustful feelings for him and used her for a patsy as a result.

Oh man, this has always been a staple of my childhood and now looking back it might very well be one of the worst games ever made. so many bad design decisions. my friend and I made up voices for all the characters (for the lack of voice work and sound design) just to get through the monotony of this play through...fun though.
