Well, the game doesn't explicitly say that they were only adopting girls - just any multiple kids to feed Dan and satisfy Bobby. And besides, Jen and Lotte thought it was suspicious, but they didn't have much of a choice - either they go by themselves and get cut up by Bobby, or escape back to the orphanage and get killed by Mary. I guess if a wealthy parent is eager to adopt multiple children with a generous salvation and reasonable explanation (like, due to the size of the mansion, it will take several kids to keep it clean), the executives are more then happy to ignore some suspicious details.

Believe it or not, bunch of redditors had issue with that opening, claiming it somehow "modernized" the game, it's "western anime intro", "disrespecting to original" and bla bla bla, the usual redditor nonsense. I swear, some people just need to take a chill pill and breath fresh air once in a while.

There is an alternate S-rank Ending, but with Laura instead of Anne. Getting there is only half the fun.

After what "wayforward" did with the the remaster of original Duck tales for NES (new levels, enemies, bosses, original voice acting, enhanced plot and story wise detailed lore), I was expecting them to do at least half of it. But this feels as such a letdown.

Got this game yesterday. Got Ending D, E, G, and H for now😅 And by the way, is this Original mode? Cos scissorman doesn't seem to show up much and it took a bit longer for jennifer to recover her health or stamina meter. EDIT - I want to thank you for this video. I've managed to get Jennifer to learn about her Dad and Mary's evil intentions inside a hidden room covered with wall plaster. I've also done some experimenting and realized that triggering events also depends on Jennifer's Stamina. As I pass by the hallway, while Jennifer's stamina is red, as I follow the steps in your video, it didn't trigger a death event that takes place on the other side (Anne falling into the swimming pool to her death). Some or most guides online never explain that. That's why I got so confused with following the steps. EDIT 2 - I got Ending S!😆After following some steps. For my gameplay, compare to your video, some rooms got randomized around the West Wing. No wonder I couldn't find a proper map or chart online. And during my Ending S gameplay, Scissorman didn't show up much. So a few things to note: Events or Scenarios are triggered based on Jennifer's Stamina. So I have to do some running around to change Jennifer's Stamina before entering certain places or rooms.

Ending S is great, but from what we've learned in the squeal it's not canon, Ending A is the canon.

@@iconoclast575 Yeah, not every sequel has the 100% ending as the canon such as Silent Hill and Fatal Frame, also the ending "That Man Zengetsu" from Bloodstained was deemed the canon ending in that game. Also the other 2 Clock Tower games are separate timelines.

That's one of the random elements in the game. If you can't push over the shelf, it means you need to get the statue instead of the cane. In that case, you have to go to the library (with the deep hole on the left wall), then click on the bookshelves until Jennifer finds a note that mentions the statue. After that, you can get it behind one of the statues on the far right end of the west wing hallway (iirc).

I think the red room is part of the added/restored content in Rewind. Not sure though, I never played the original. (Just a bit of the PS1 version when I was a kid)

I never played this, how does saving or checkpoints work if at all? Do you have to play through it in one sitting all the time? What was the significance of the bird's nest? Aw, kinda lame that just exiting the room and reentering changes Mary's position. That would have tricked me. Dang. that mural stuff would have confused the heck out of me. What did triggering the piano do? What was the significance of that doll flying? What about that library with specialized books? Are those places were items might change locations per playthrough? Wow, those are some interesting solutions. I would never have figured those out I guess.

Piano is optional but iconic. Checkpoint is the start of every room: this DOES mean in at least 2 situations you can get softlocked (getting drugged and trapped in the cage without ham and another one, I think), but for the most part dying is a tap on the wrist.

The bird's nest can contain the key to the west wing, if the box in the first room doesn't have it. Otherwise it does nothing, I think. I'm not sure if the flying doll really does anything either. It seems like it's just a scene they added for fun. Different dolls can come to life though, which is a nice touch.
