Very brilliant work! Nicely done! Can't say enough except This is not something that the typical shop owner has as far the tools involved or money to make up for the deficit of items needed. Just being truthful. I've always wanted to be a clocker maker myself. Great job! Hope that it gives the young fellow at the right time in his life to spring forward with the dream of the time keepers.

I just found these videos yesterday and went through a tear watching them all. I am now anxious to see the finished clock. It is going to be spectacular considering all the expert care in making the parts. I watch all the wristwatch vids. I had no idea there was a thing as a skeleton clock.

My favorite part this time were all the shot changes prior to, and around 3:35-3:50. They were somehow reminiscent of the "arming up" montages in movies where everyone's grabbing their weapons and loading them. I'm a sucker for the look of dark blue and brass, this is oddly specific but it reminds me of the original Larry Elmore book cover of Dragons of Winter Night which was the first fantasy novel I read back in the 90s. Also congrats on the shoutout from AvE, both you guys are doing things that you just can't find elsewhere on the net, which, you'd think with the 4 billion people online wouldn't be possible.

Hi I've just stumbled on this build and your work is stunning. Way back in 1984 I made the John Wilding Congreve clock. Its still running fine but its not the clock to make if you want a good time keeper - its rather horologically challenged. I note you find making the pinions a little challenging, have you ever made lantern pinions, they may be less of a challenge
