Summer doesnt last forever... So you should do a fall and winter sleepover too and like change your bedding and put more season appropriate decorations in your room for a cozy and fall/winter feel. And for the recipe part you could do like DIY pumpkin bars or christmas cookies or you could do a DIY bathbomb because i know people love taking baths in the fall/winter time(:

Well, you could try leaving a note like "Mom, I got my ." And leave it in a place only she would find it. Don't write period but add the dot (.) so if anyone else finds it they might not understand. Or when school starts if you got it already and you have a cell phone, text her to spare yourself the awkwardness. Or when grocery shopping lead them to the toiletries and grab pads/tampons or if you are brave go grab it yourself and put it in when they are looking, practice on a friend ( a girl duh) or if you don't want to tell her in any direct way just give hints.

I'm 14 and I got mine a week before I turned 14. It's annoying but I feel older now. When you do start I recommend that you use tampons. Pads are okay but I don't like the feeling of wearing a diaper. Once you figure out how to use a tampon you can't feel it and you can swim and do sports with it. It's great!
