Oh no, you’re suppose to squeeze the top portion of the hair waver to open it up so your hair doesn’t get ripped out! I used the curl version one years ago and I too found out the hard way that small sections is key. I almost got my hair stuck in a few of them from taking way too thick of a section.

Tip for the foam wavers if it has net been said, section your hair like you would with a curling iron. You’ll be able to get smaller sections as well as keep your hair untangled which would have prevented you from ripping your hair out like you did.

We had some of those heatless curlers when I was younger, although they were round curls instead of waves. Only used them a couple of times because they took forever and hurt too much.

I live in China and I got the plastic curlers a few months ago. There are so many different designs depending on the length of your hair and style you're going for. I should say your hair should be more wet for you to be able to pull it smoothly through them, but yeah they work perfectly. I have really thin and straight hair and my curls lastest for 72 hours after I slept with them on for like 8 hours. No need to apply hit or hair spray.

I put the wave formers in all the time in my hair (medium length) and my daughters hair (long length). You really need to section your hair out and only take small 1” sections to pull through the wave former. This prevents breakage and tangling.

I also loved the wave formers. I have had them for about a year now and I agree, you do need smaller sections, especially if you have thicker hair. I put them in when my hair is still damp and a bit slick from my leave in conditioner. You can blow dry it to get it to dry a bit faster and hold its shape better, but be careful you’re not holding it in one spot for too long and melt or warp the plastic.

With the hair crimp tool I believe you're supposed to pinch the rubber open at the top when you pull them out to reduce breakage. I've seen someone have these and that was something they did. Maybe that would be worth a try?

I used it to dye my hair a purple/blue and got caught in a surprise rainstorm a few weeks later...by the time my ride showed up I had blue dye dripping from my wet hair all down my face. 😡 Same thing with the red dye from them. My roommates daughter used Artic to dye her hair half orange/half red and our white bathroom countertop is still stained over 1.5 years later. I'm need to re dye my hair soon and I'm gonna order the dye from Brad Mondo to try out.

I had a problem with both or them staining my bathroom sink etc. The Splat! dyed my Pjs/sheets after the second hair washing. It kept the color in my hair for quite awhile but I ruined too much fabric because of it. I want to try Brad Mondo too. I'd love for Hope to try it but I'm pretty sure that she gets her hair done professionally. I've got the perfect plan though. Brad dying her hair. He did a video partnership with Dr. Mike.

When hope used the heartless curlers I was just laughing to myself because my hair is naturally like her finished result and people always say to me “omg I love your hair do you curl it?” Or “I’m so jealous of your hair” or “ooh love the curls” and I’m just like no I don’t use heat on my hair unless I need to it’s all natural but then when people say “omg I want your hair” I’m like no you don’t because my hair is that curly and very thick it’s such a nightmare to wash it and brush it!

The glitter spray is alot more visible on the body when you use Hair Glitter spray. I've also used it on items I got bored of and wanted a bit of a change Bed side cabinet, curtains ect. Function of Beauty gave me a REALLY BAD allergic reaction. I have never had a reaction to any other shampoo and conditioner and im not really very allergic to anything. I have some sensitivities to like sulfates but thats it. But with that being said, NOTHING had EVER made my hair so amazingly shiny and silky smooth. Its such a bummer i cant use it.
