Great fun when the two of you get together. Poor kitty did not enjoy being perched on the yarn. He is growing. It is good to see that we all make mistakes. I am 75 and have just measured my foot with my hand ! Great new knowledge. 🇬🇧

OMG, you are right. My hand length does match the length of my foot to the heel. Your hat is next on my list and I will use leftovers too.

I watched the video on after thought heel and even I with my allied brain can do it. Though a couple of my family have majorly high arches, good old genetics, so I was going to do traditional socks with gussets so that the socks might fit. I'm beginning to get the felted clog knitted and I switch off to size zero needles to get a break from the giant 13's required for it. Thanks for answering. I started to tell you I had found the video on the after-thought heel and found it quite entertaining. For some reason it makes me think of sock monkeys. giggle!

I just started row 3 of the sole…I had issues. And I’ll be 61 next month and was able to do it, but I’m not taking a picture. ETA - Finished the Solo and have started on the shaping. FYI - My ‘issues’ are that I get in a hurry and try to follow along when I used watch the entire video, make any notes on the pattern and THEN follow along. Which is how I figured out why my count was off…I was doing the MI/KFB all wrong. Once I switched over to using the Purl bump (and some switch markers), my counts were perfect.

I know you probably won't answer, but why do you have all the green yarn rolled into a big ball? By the way, I was able to do it and match my hand to my foot. I today love your mess ups. I used to knit with far less blunders. How do you "cut" into your tube sock to make the after thought heel? I was watching Knitting Traditions and she described it in her breezey manner. Here you mention it and I need to know.

I have a video tutorial about knitting an Afterthought Heel. I talked about the big ball in the previous Clog Vlog Episode, but the short story is that my daughter ripped out a large project she was making with it and instead of making smaller balls, she just kept winding. So now I have a basketball sized ball of yarn! kzbin.info/www/bejne/l32XqHaPbpafl9U

Will there be a 2022 KAL group for the clogs in Ravelry? Not asking for prizes. Just wanting one to corral us all together because I'm curious about yarn and color choices for all the various projects... 🙂

It does look like a frog, I'd have to make eyeballs for it! Hahahahaha P.S. I'm 65.5 and can bend also, and yes, it works!

Dumb question time on the Clogs, yall. Will ALL the stitches fit on a 16 inch circular? Ummm, asking for a friend.

Possibly? It would depend on the size you’re making
