One of the nuances I absolutely love with the game is that in the background changes for road and plains tiles (and some cities for an extent), as in tile directly above you and the adjactent tiles determine what you can see in the background. Fighting on a plains with the pipe just above you? That looming pipe will be visible in the background. Fighting on a road with the Blue Moon HQ just above you? You'll see the Blue Moon HQ in the background. Fighting on a city? Banners of the country currently in control of the city will be on display.

also, this is more of a convenience but, I like that he has Orange Star's unit style, that's how it was in the original AW but only because Black Hole's style didn't exist. As it is now, Clone Andy is the only Black Hole CO who uses Orange Star's style. It means basically nothing since he's (imo incorrectly) classed as an Orange Star CO in custom modes, but it's some nice charm. Also, hi, Emiba. If I had 1000 funds for every KS pfp I saw in an Advance Wars Reboot Camp video... well, I'd survive turn 1 at least. Hey, get back to HQ when you got the chance, alright? -Kenji

​@Batabii if you mean the "Clone!" before Andy's name, it's a sort of way some people would write out an alternate version of a character Such as a female version of a character being referred to with "F!/Fem!" right before their name, such as Fem!Byleth

You could just replace the ! with a space and you spent the same amount of time typing the name and it feels more natural. It'd be like typing Valentines!Hector instead of just V!Hector in FEH...may as well just remove the exclamation mark at that point.

Under AW2 style, Clone Andy becomes unique from regular Andy. AW2 Andy lost his firepower buff for Hyper Repair, but Clone Andy still has it. Regular Andy has no reason to spam Hyper Repair and is better off saving for Hyper Upgrade under most circumstances, but Clone Andy is highly encouraged to use Hyper Repair whenever possible for that sweet firepower buff.

I don't know about the English version. But in French, Andy's power is Reparafond (wich translates pretty well in my opinion) BUT Andy's clone's power is Repara fond in two words wich is just a detail I love as if Black Hole didn't really know how it was spelled and just assumed it was in two words (correctly, it would be in three : répare à fond) I really love the details in this game

?why you hyper repair? The gba AI of advance wars is nowhere near the level it could be. That being said, any OC hyper move thing gives them around a 15% to 30% boost in stats based on numbers who they are and so forth.

Depends on situations. Hyper Repair in AW1 comes with a firepower boost. And in AW2 style, Clone Andy keeps that firepower boost whereas regular Andy loses it.

@@slyllamademon2652 That's why I mention that it depends on situations. Vs. Olaf, Drake, and Hawke, Clone Andy would be better off saving Hyper Repair to counter their global damage. Vs. anyone else though and Clone can get a lot of mileage spamming Hyper Repair for its Firepower boost. It can be the difference between destroying a unit and merely crippling it. A unit with no damage can still benefit from Hyper Repair's firepower boost along with the general defense boost all CO powers give. And the more damage you do, the less damage the enemy can do on counter attack. As said though, its all about what the situation calls for.
