My personal opinion is that it would be bad writing if CX-2 turns out to be nobody. All this build up for nothing. He could have died twice in episode 7, but he survived. This clone has to be somebody The Bad Batch personaly knows, so Tech, Cody or a clone of Crosshair would work.

More evidence to back up the “Tech is the assassin theory” is when the batch try to use their comms, they were blocked. In a previous episode of season 1, it had been said by Crosshair that Tech blocking comms was predictable because it’s something only Tech does…🧐 This assassin blocked their comms, something the empire has never done until now. Why, I wonder? 🧐🧐

I think it’s very possible that CX-2 is tech after having his memory of the batch wiped. It would explain how he doesn’t know pabus location, and could also leave room for them to squeeze in his memories slowly coming back, like him looking back at phees ship.

Whenever I think CX-2 is Tech, I would agree that they had to erase his mind in order for the Empire to make it a mission to find Pabu, but I have a feeling Hemlock may have developed a way to watch others' memories, cause that's just who Hemlock is. Unless, Tech had amnesia in the fall. For the moment, I support the Cody option because of that scene where he attacked Crosshair with a vibroknife.

I honestly don’t know anymore 😂 I thought it was Tech for the longest time. Now I’m not so sure. I still think Tech will make an appearance of some sort. There is such a heavy emphasis on his goggles and the batch have been mentioning him, but there have been no extended moments of closure. It makes me feel as if the constant emphasis on those goggles and lack of memorial will signify a return. Granted that could mean nothing. Fives was brushed off after Echo was rescued from the Techno Union. In fact Tech is getting more attention than Fives ever had imo. But I feel like the denial of closure for fans id a hint that he may be back. Perhaps as a prisoner in Tantiss. Or maybe I’m just overthinking lol

It's a Crosshair clone. Dr. Hemlock's hand is a reference to Dr. Strangelove. Behind the scene, the actor of Strangelove said part of his character was still a fash -- namely, his hand. Crosshair's hand is a mirror of Hemlock. So the tremor is indicative of two things: 1.) PTSD 2.) Part of Crosshair never left the Empire. Couple that with CX's insane sniping ability that we've seen nowhere else (except for maybe Sev), and his delivery of voice lines... it seems pretty evident they're a copy of Crosshair.

One problem though it can’t be a clone of crosshair because he was only with the empire for a little bit, probably no more than a year and a half so they would have to clone him, wait for the clone to be fully grown, and train it. It could just be me though

To the whole ‘Not knowing where Pabu is’ thing. Some of these clones have to have their minds wiped. Some of them even need to become scrambled eggs. So through reconditioning, Tech could have forgotten said location.

I still believe it is Cody, wouldn't be surprised if he takes off his helmet and we see a certain scar on the side of his forehead. 😅 The other option is that its just a random reg clone. I won't guess anymore, I just wait and see what they present us, if they do it at all. And if it is Tech after all, I'll be really pissed that they did that to him. He doesn't deserve this. The problem with guessing with these shows is that they wrote the show on purpose to confuse and throw you off. they give you all kinds of conflicting clues that don't really mean anything just to keep us all talking about it making videos and guessing endlessly😂 Its just not the same as if they just did it honestly and didnt put in fake clues like they do

Morrok has become a very important minor character in the Star Wars universe. He first appeared in Ahsoka season 1, and now he is also featured in Tales of the Empire. If his presence as the Assissan in the BB series comes true, this indicates that he has become one of the most significant Nobody characters in Star Wars canon. I suspect that the Sith Master shown in the Acolyte trailer will end up being this Morrok character.

It will not be tech, or cross hair, or cody but it will be somebody. The bad batch are 10-12 years old. Long enough to assess their usefulness well before order 66. I think the Kaminoans took the defective genes from all three or four, wrecker strength, and created a super mutant combination clone. He is 5 years younger than the Bad Batch. He will be taken down he will not be killed because Dave Filoni is setting up another long term protagonist. A super clone with hunters instinct, techs knowhow and crosshairs accuracy. "Why have I been activated?" was the words he used when first seen. The real question is why was he deactivated? Was that when the bad batch when rogue?

The clone assassin has the average clone height I think. So he can't be Tech or Crosshair because they are slightly taller than the average clone. So my theory is that he must be someone else (not necessarily Cody). But then again nobody knows !

i think it could be someone but it couldn't as well one reason i do believe it could be someone and maybe could explain how the clone does not know where the batch batch is holed up is if it is tech he could have gotten a head injury PLus crosshair mentioned these clones were wiped clean of themselves and reconditioned so its possible if it is tech he was stripped of himself to be turned into this assassin. only issue i even really see is how would the guy know crosshair was nearly one of them and i'm not sure if that was made known to them or not. its possible for commander cody but not i can't help but see there's a difference in the build of CX-1 and CX-2. the first clone assassins to me carries a standard clone trooper body shape while CX-2 seems a little slimmer than them as well. vocabulary as was stated with the word CX-2 as well. but it's possible it really is no one and they are trying to trip us up.

I can tell you with complete certainty they are not Marrocs because if they were the last two would have dissipated after dying, which they did not and story wise I think it would be a great disservice to the character of Tech to be brought back. Also all the dead assassins all look the same so there is no reason why this current one isn't any different.

Cross hair is a sniper, snipers use scopes the lines in the scope to center targets are cross hairs C=Cross, X = hairs, 2 a second crosshair. Putting the answerer in plain sight maybe?
