Great technical review Sithlord! That's where YOU have the high ground on previous 6 inch releases knowledge and their articulation! 👊 I've got that Rex figure and he does seem a lot more easy to articulate than this Obi who seemed pretty stiff. I was just so blown away by the head sculpt I quickly forgave it! 😊👍

This appearance kinda appeared in canon. Its in one issue of the tales of vaders castle or whatever it was called. In short obi wan, cody and some clones track down dooku into some wierd vampire cave. Where they fight vampire bat kind of things (who have also appeared in other canon stories) and dooku who has been turned into a vampire himself. Obi wan in that one comic issue sports this outfit. The comic itself is a group of rebels that chrash near vaders castle and tell "horror" stories to each other.

This looks awesome! I totally agree with you about the joints. It would have been nice if they used the updated Clone parts. But that head sculpt is incredible and looks to rival the S.H. Figuarts ROTS Obi-Wan. I feel like the beard is a little too thick, but it definitely looks amazing. Thanks, Steve!

S.H. Figuarts do spring to mind as product Hasbro are slowly catching up to in terms of capturing character likenesses. It's a shame really that it's taken them so long to get to this point, as I remember collecting WWE figures from Jakks Pacific in the early 2000's & their likenesses were superb! The beard is a little too thick, I agree & I failed to mention in the video, I feel as though the details in the eyes are a little less defined, almost feeling faded, compared to some of the other photoreal heads we've had.

Great Review. He is an Amazing Looking Figure. Hasbro too their PhotoReal Face Printing to a Whole New Level on this figure. He Truly looks like a High End Collectible, Light Years ahead of the Episode 3 Obiwan We got back in the Blue Line. Nice to see You Back Posting Reviews. May the Force be with You.

@@suyo3380 Ah, yes.* As far as Black Series 6 inch line goes: we still don't have a Padawan Anakin of any kind (Which could easily have the tunic as a clip on accessory and the have battled damage.) We don't have any kind of Clone Wars Anakin be it from the CW: Micro Series or TCW and we haven't had a Nelvaanian Tatoo Anakin since the 3 and 3/4 inch live action version was released in the 30th AC line back in 2008. *Come on Hasbro. Sort it out*. The CW: Micro Series Season 2 Jedi Knight Anakin is the one I'd most want, as a companion piece for *this* figure.
