HELP FOR SCALING! Take your height in inches. Ex: I am 5ft 8in -> 68 inches tall Divide your height by his height in inches(72in). Ex: 68/72. The percentage you get should be the the scale you print it by. Ex: I got 94.44%, so I will print the templates at a scale of 95%. NOTE: This is a rough estimate you can do to get you started. You may still have to modify some parts. *Thank you Ryzer for your amazing, simple templates! Already made the helmet, time to get started on the armor....

It's all good. For 90% of the suit I used that CAP Barbell Roll Up Foam mat that I linked in the description. It's about 7mm thick. Here's the parts that were different sizes: *The hand plates are 5mm craft foam. *The shoe ankle guards are the same 5mm foam and the strip of foam on the shoe is 2mm thick. *The gray little circles and rectangles on the back armor are 5mm foam. *The buttons on the pauldron are 2mm *The compad is 5mm *The helmet fin is 2mm in the middle and 5mm on the edges. And the air filter circles on the front are 5mm with a small 2mm circle in the middle. I think that's about it, let me know if there's a specific piece you need.

What were the measurements for the helmet
@ryzer_red4 жыл бұрын
I kept the measurements for mine the same as it is when you open the file in pepakura. I would recommend scaling it up a little as it is a pretty tight fit. You'll also want to trim some of the bottom ring of the helmet so you can fit your head into it anyway. There is a measurement tool in pepakura too if you want a better idea of how wide you need to make it.

Hey but I'm using some of your templates for a Halloween costume and do you have the instructions by any chance?

I think your work is wicked cool. Is there any chance you have a template for a storm trooper original for Eva foam.

Thanks a lot for the templates, been looking to make an armor for a while, it helped me a lot, one small question though, what do the numbers mean, is it measurements?

This is awesome, I tried to build the shin today but I just couldn’t get it to looks as well. I also couldn’t get the back of the shin to close. Any tips on that?

The shins are a bit tricky. I'm currently making a video on the leg armor as a part 2 in my series on template explanation. Hopefully that will help some. If not I'll try going into more detail.

Ryzer so I have another quick question, I’m working on the chest and I’m not quite sure how to attach the pec plates to the part that goes underneath them. Do you glue them edge to edge or one on top of the other?
@ryzer_red4 жыл бұрын
@@toddkuznitz3629 I glued them edge to edge with contact cement and secured it with hot glue. Although, you could add a little extra foam to the "under" pec piece and that way you could just glue to them one on top of the other. I'd recommend that actually.

So you made the DC 15 blaster rifle and you had said previously the normal dc 15 was a toy and I had made a really big dc 15 (at least to me) and I'd thought I'd let you know because it would be really cool for your cosplay

That's cool! I would love to make a bigger version sometime myself, but I have so many other things I want to make lol.
