I came back to this game like 5 months ago or something. It was a shock when I turned a corner, saw a centurion looking tank, thought I could fight it, and had no clue how to pen the damn thing while it took 1500 of my hitpoints. What did they ever nerf the 4005 and 183 for if they were gonna release such a monstrosity?

I argued long and hard on the forum with the guy from Wargaming doing the "analysis". His arguments were complete nonsense and contradicted his analysis on the Russian tanks who all got buffs. It was simply "it's not consistent" and "it doesn't fire enough shots", and the issue was simply that the standard AP does not reliably pen to risk firing for the reduced damage and extensive reload, while the HESH modelling is broken meaning it rarely does the expected damage consistently. So they reduced the damage on both, buffed reload, but kept all the other weaknesses. The 4005 just doesn't work at its size and ease of spotting / deleting without 1800+ damage being available. The 183 is playable, but nowhere near the reliability of pretty much any other Tier 10 TD. The occasional time you manage to hit an enemy for 1400 is offset by the number of times it doesn't. And then they decided to just strap the 183 to a bunch of other tanks and consider them "balanced".

They'd just done the new rerelease / branding with the T95/FV4201 at the forefront, they were talking about making tanks more realistic and balanced - they said they were going to overhaul the tanks at tier X (which was a red flag, as the balance rot starts at 7) with a focus on "statistical analysis" where actual analysts like myself pointed out their errors, but we were ignored. So they changed like 5 tanks and then the next season was either Wrestling or Hot Wheels and it was never heard of again, and then they closed the forum after the full skill / equipment removal debacle we're still dealing with the fallout over.

as a conspiracy theorist I have a theory. some tanks have better RNG. AVRE is one of those when it comes to being penned. I played a custom game with a friend. the stock ap shells of t110e5 went right through the front through that excavator thingy in to the lower plate. shot from all angles. even its head is penned with that shell. but on a real match its almost impossible to pen it even with TDs. or its some players RNG.

God how I miss this game pre-mercenaries. This game was SO good and had great updates and it was well balanced and god I play now and it is just nowhere near what it used to be. They ruined the UI and added so many BS tanks and the mechanics just feel awful, it feels like they ported the mobile version to console and I can’t believe they let it happen

Watching this video just made me so sad. I haven't played in just over two weeks now and have just 11 battles played in the last 30 days. The T249 was the final straw for me ... makes me sick seeing WGCB shills and scumbags on Reddit and Discord defending that thing (they know who they are and do it proudly, I could list off a BUNCH of names if I wanted to right now). I've made the very, very difficult decision to quit WoT Console for good at the end of this year after nearly a decade (I've been playing since January 19, 2015). I just don't enjoy this game anymore and it's obvious that not only do the Devs NOT have a future roadmap planned for this game anymore, but I also think they've realized this game is now pretty much doomed ... so they're trying to profit off of its destruction as much as possible before the servers are forced to be shut down for good. One thing I noticed is that SIX of these tanks were introduced AFTER 6.0 ... think about that for a moment. In the barely 4 years since 6.0, we've had SIX toxic tier 10 premiums available for ANYONE to purchase ... and some of them took ZERO effort to earn because they were INSTANTLY available to you when you purchased a Season Pass at just 6,500 gold. That is just absolutely disgusting. And all of them were released from 2022 onwards. ALL of these tanks, apart from the Pz. V/IV, in the span of NOT EVEN TWO WHOLE YEARS. If that isn't solid proof that they want WW2 and the game as a whole to die, then I don't know what is. This is just my conspiracy theory, but I think they've come to the realization that Cold War, after nearly 4 years, hasn't been the smashing hit they expected it to be (DUH), so they've now resorted to sabotaging WW2 to get players into Cold War by force or have them quit the game entirely. I mean, the Deathstalker, the Wiesel Mk. 1, the Grom, AND the Vigilante have ALL been released into the game in a span of not even two months. Two. Entire. Months. It's just absolutely diabolical.

siegreid line. i was poking up into the street from the field and was playing hull down. I killed a tank and then lost 1340 hit points because a Taran was sitting halfway up the street, and I couldn't see it. It's a joke. As for the Avery. It's a reason to give up playing. It way to heavily armoured for a tank that just spams damage. Whatever happened to learning to play a tank. It's getting to the point it's not enjoyable anymore. Sad times.

Tanks like the AVRE, even though I have it the match making, I get thrown I to teir 10 games as a teir 8 ore then anything and the constant t spam of bullshit pre iu s like the rogal dorn the Taran and with a maxed out commander can spit shell out every 10 seconds what kind d of shit is that and do 900 damage a shot and has the capability to do over a 1,000 damage what in the name of all creation and then the battle passes they put these b.s tanks in them and charge you to get them knowing damn well some is about empty their wallet for it on day one these reasons are why I quit and went back to p.c it has it's own issues but far better then console now and console was how I first got to play this game I knew about it before it came to console but since my people belived computers were for works not gameplay I couldn't play so you could only imaging how excited I was when they launched the Xbox 350 edition

I feel like the Rogal is how all heavies should be. They should be terrifying. Unless they’re alone for a high pen speedy light to shoot in the ass. … or from TD’s. TD’s should also be terrifying….but there should probably only be 1-2 per team as well. As it stands it’s like, oh the sniper? Lol. Imma just drive right at them and shoot them. Take a hit? Tanks that the T249 can't pen are the Jgpz E-100, E-100, VKK, Maus, IS-7, IS-4, Obj. 279e, ST-II, Type 5, 60TP, Nemesis, and Rogal Dorn. Funnily enough the better armored Leman Russ has this small 50mm weak spot on the back engine deck, so it's not T249 proof though it will bounce if the light isn't aware of this spot. Sturmtiger is also mostly immune except for the 60mm side armor right above the tracks below the casement.

And yet, with the T249's auto pen feature, even if it can't pen it STILL does damage with every hit. Only 1pt per hit but that means even other lights and mediums can't get lucky bounces to try and balance the engagement. Unless a TD manages to one shot one of these things, a T249 will delete at least one tank. Other lights that aren't a T249 stand no chance whatsoever. Completely broken. Shouldn't be in the game let alone the WWII tank section.

I've never had issue with the centurion avre tbh, ok he got a massive gun and deals a lot of damage sometimes and he got spaced armor on the front but eh he stills got an tier 8 turret who's really easy to pen for most tier 10 + the small weaspot on it if it's not angle and if u know how to shoot. For me that's just an type 5 medium and, for me the most broken tank is by far the night stalker (the new light at 2nd place).

This game has became a dissaster since they added the Avre and the Rogal Dorn. Also, another toxic tank can be the Grom. For lower tier, it is a pest and plague. Even tier 8 heavies can be 2-shot by it.

See I have never been bothered by the AVRE - but the SU-130PM and Taran are both fundamentally broken tanks. The 130 takes the broken premise of the Skorpion-G and optimises it. Then the Taran takes the optimisation and turns it to 11. It's honestly a disgusting tank, punching more consistently than any other tank at tier except maybe the derp gun of the Sav, Hetzer and KV2.

Wargaming BLEW it's opportunity to provide solid game play with the advent of 6.0 and all the gun perks that came with that. Before that, you had to know weak spots and AIM. Now, with all the accuracy of every gun, you just auto lock and fire. Wargaming should have never sold anything above a Tier XIII, it just allowed so many noobs to purchase and ruin games. They should have locked CW to anyone that had not grinded out Tier X and not given any CW vehicles away in the season pass to anyone that had not completed that grind. But the truly complexing thing that really irritates me the most is the total lack of "giving a shit" about the test beds of these tanks. Almost everyone said each and every vehicle on this list was "game breaking" and should be adjusted, but they just said "nope" and dropped them anyway.

Only came back to this game to get the sturm tiger to do big damage since they nerfed 183 and 4005. Then they add a minigun into the game 😂. Sadly I bought it because it was cheap and makes loads of credits. Don’t understand why this needs the bleed damage. Just give that to the He so then you gotta use both shell types. Best game in the new tank I do 6k damage since I do the entire health of the leopard, grille 15, and 4005. Like this makes no sense and also the Cold War one is worse because I believe it overheats while this doesn’t for some reason.

I quit playing regularly for years because of crap matchmaking and too many OP tanks, especially for a Light/Medium tank player. Recently got back into, playing regularly again, mostly having fun. Until I started running into T249's in every tier 8-10 match. Still being a mostly Light tank player those tiers are now unplayable. There are always at least 2 T249's on each team and invariably end up running into one or both and getting deleted. No point playing any light tank in those tiers that's not a T249. If you run into a T249 you can't one shot in less than 2 seconds YOU WILL LOSE. It is the ultimate light tank killer. I will go back to not playing WoT anymore. Thanks Wargaming, almost forgot how crap you are.

Honestly, I just think too many players are just crap at the game and too cowardly to be able to outplay, admittedly, stronger and high armoured tanks. I've used incredibly weak tanks and have still dominated the matches even those I struggle to even pen or would easily be outmatched by. U just gotta know how to use them effectively and strategise well, In order to outplay them. Take the fv4005 for example. The overused box tank that can easily 1 shot tanks and has 1 shot me which I'm currently seeing still being used wayy too often. It's actually quite a bad tank. Like a 25 second reload time, weak armour and only has dmg going for it really. I've very recently been outplaying a ton of them, just face the tank with the most armoured part of Ur tank, they can manage to not pen or ricochet even on weaker armour. As long as U no what Ur doing? They are fairly easy to take out. Have a group of people all shooting at it or rushing it, stands no chance. I see fv4005 tank users tryna run away from fights more than I'm now seeing them staying to fight.

WG should have a dedicated ww2 lobby. No pretend tanks, etc etc. Just legit actual operational and or developmental tanks. Then a second lobby for legit Cold war/ modern tanks. And finally a third lobby for all these stupid pretend tanks and any other era, if you wish to join. These pretend tanks are just ruining the game. The latest is just a phenomenal slap in the face to the whole community.

Try playing competitively on pc then we’ll talk. The most insanely cerebral intense experience is pc. Console is limited, the views, mods, etc. I played from the start and the beta was caveman. Today I’m getting sniped from an area….. I send a scout over to lite him, he’s mow peeking over a ridge that I didn’t think any tank could get to, them relocated again only to see my teams deathspam then he gunning my engine down, tracking me relocating again! Deathspam…. Now I feel like prey. I’m like common that’s impossible. Them I get ammo racked from BEHIND an obstacle. Idk if they have hacked the system or what but this person was in the matrix or something. It’s not even fair any,ore then I look up his rating……. Ffs man get a job! 11,000 over 90k battles?
