@@hollyrothera it’s not that hard to get your venomous reptiles permit. I did it, my best friend did it, it’s not this unattainable feat by which only the most experienced in the world can do. And in no part of the training I received did my mentor ever suggest to free hand a venomous snake. That’s rule number one lol. What this guys is doing is basically playing Russian roulette with his reptiles. One bite, and he’s dead, or he’s going to wish he was dead, and then all of his animals lives are risk. That’s the level of irresponsibility here.

I hope I'm wrong, but I can't help but feel that someday Chandler's luck is gonna run out... there's only so many close calls you can have before one of them ends up being more than a close call. If you're gonna keep doing this stuff for years to come then you should really consider being more careful, it'd be heartbreaking if something happened to you that could have been avoided.

@@dextermorgan1 Yeah, it's easy to think "oh I've been doing this for a long time, I know how to read snakes body language", but at the end of the day all it takes is ONE slip up. Reminds me of Steve Irwin, I'm sure he knew what he was doing but eventually him being overly comfortable around dangerous animals ended up being the end of him. I really don't want to see Chandler meet a similar fate, because he seems like a cool guy who genuinely wants to educate people about these amazing animals.

You're going to love those new enclosures once they're all set up. I'm currently getting each of my animals bigger, nicer enclosures one by one and I've found that not only is that a better environment for the animal but it makes things easier on me as a keeper too. And your collection is a lot bigger and more advanced than mine so I'm sure that will feel like a godsend for you.

I saw where viper keeper had to send his king cobra elvis to another facility cause Elvis developed a very crazy and erratic attitude when it came to feeding his king. It became dangerous to feed him. How crazy ? Keep in mind viper keeper is the OG of reptile keeping, very skilled and he deemed it to much for him. Elvis will be at a place where he will be feed in an non contact or exposed way. He didn't want too but felt it best 4 him and the king. Chandler why would this occurs after many yrs of being normal the king would develop this odd and dangerous way ?
