Something doesn't make sense to me. Right before they grab the tandem bike, the jock babbling gibberish is talking to a girl who appears upset with him. Then when the bike gets stolen, she suddenly looks happy, relieved, and maybe even a bit smug. But why? Is it because tandem bikes are a terrible idea or because she doesn't know this guy suddenly offering her a tandem bike ride? The animation in that brief moment was so deliberate, they were making a statement of some sort. But what?

Occam’s razor would suggest she didn’t want to ride the Tandem Bicycle but has to because she wanted to be nice As otherwise she wouldn’t have cared if she could say no I cannot really guessed her relationship with the man though
