As tears flow out of my eyes I am amazed at what I just watched, Jon looks like he’s in heaven out front of Paul Green’s unbelievable School of Rockers, watching that “baby-faced “ Steve Howe play guitar 👏👏🙏 I was waiting for Chris Squire to come walking out on that stage !! WOW

Dear Mr Anderson, you have been a source of pure beauty and magical talent in my life for many years. As a sophomore in high school, my high school English teacher encouraged us to look to our record albums for music that depicted “the Pig Man” by Paul Zindel. I spent much of my presentation focusing in on Close to the Edge. I have to say my class presentation was a work of art. Because I was totally inspired. My teacher told me I was gifted. No. You were gifted. I just latched on. Jon, I want to thank you 47 years later for inspiring me and supporting my success in life. I want to cry. I realized I had talent because of that connection. No, I should say I harnessed that talent that I didn’t know I had. And I thank u. Recently I was so very blessed to see you in NH with the Paul Green Rock Academy. Thank you so much for all the work you are doing to continue the legacy of Yes and progressive rock, and nurturing young talent. ❤️

I went to see these in London last night and was amazed at how good it was. Whilst there was a certain "high school band" quality to it as they earnestly plugged away rather than showing us how much they were enjoying it (the wonderful singers excepted) that made it all the better. Paul himself cautioned us that there may be mistakes so be patient. There WERE no mistakes and they breathed new, youthful life into all these great old pieces and a few cover versions too. You couldn't keep up with who was playing what as a striking female vocalist took the lead in one song and turned up playing a very adept bass in the next song, or another singer appeared playing sax, or plucking away at Mood for a Day. I saw the current Yes a year ago (I still love them and will defend their right to continue playing as Yes) but they looked slightly tired and business like, almost like karaoke Yes, compared to these young upstarts.

Incredible. The Paul Green Rock Academy blew my mind and with Jon's vocals - pure heaven. This collaboration is so much better than the other Yes members touring under the name "Yes" with their lead vocalist who tries but fails to emulate Jon's vocals and end up sounding like a Yes tribute band. Without Jon's vocals, there is no Yes. Loved the guitar work here too particularly with the bassist who gives off real Chris Squire vibes playing with a similar vibrant energy that borders on a willingness to fly off into a rage. Paul Green Rock Academy has a new fan.

I purchased about 8 or 9 of the albums then. Close To The Edge was a favorite of mine and I was so impressed by it that in High School, I did a class presentation on it. The class enjoyed it thoroughly and I must have done a helluva job with that. I do not know if I still have that paper. I believe that only the most sophisticated of listener could appreciate what YES did then with their music. Jon Anderson, you are a living Miracle.
