As a native of TAMPA I was at the airport with my AF dad when the first plane landed at the new TPA which was a National 727 from Los Angeles. Was and still am so proud of TPA. Hi Dave. Yes it’s amazing how much rubber is deposited on runways. Typical aircraft leaves 1.5 pounds rubber per tire per landing! Thanks for the info 👍😊
