I want this I got dvd version off Amazon and it was vhs quality Horrible pissed off too But I’m hearing complaints with this …. Should I wait and see if a 4K release comes Or chance this? I’ve heard they have issues some episodes don’t work or discs

The Sopranos was such a brilliant show. It was addicting. I am looking forward to the movie The Many Saints of Newark which is a prequel to The Sopranos and it will be released later this year in October. James Gandolfini's son Michael will portray the young Tony Soprano in the movie!

Hi! I recently bought this but the dvd edition. Did you also notice that the episodes are slightly sped up or is that just me?

Did you get a PAL DVD edition? I've noticed no such issue on the Region 1 DVDs or Blu-rays.

That would be why. PAL DVDs made from NTSC or film sources have to be sped up by 4% to compensate for the difference in framerate. The result is the audio is pitched up slightly and the show runs a bit shorter than usual. Some PAL DVDS pitch-correct the audio, but the running time is still shorter. So to have them at the correct speed/pitch, you would need either the NTSC DVDs or the Blu-ray set.
