I needed this video today! I moved everything out of my bedroom this weekend to paint and build new furniture. Now that the work day is over, I needed motivation to start organizing my new dresser drawers and go though clothing, accessories, etc. So thank you for this motivation this evening, Jen!

I feel great and so much happier now. i needed that inspiration. i had lots of stuff from 1998 but i wont wear them again. i dont dress for work as i am retired now. I donated boxes of nice things that i have loved in hopes another will feel confident in those blazers and skirts.

I definitely need to do this. We just moved so goal number one was just get unpacked and do the best I can in the new space. Now I’m going back through and reorganizing and doing some decluttering. I’ve been putting off my closet and clothes but I think if I just start, I’ll feel motivated to continue through to the end.

Yes, it's ABSURD. We've never had a closet like this and when I first saw it I audibly gasped because I spent 25 years having the smallest closets in the world (well, maybe not THE smallest but pretty small;)

Lol, the great unpleasantness has inspired me to start Swedish death cleaning a year early. I have been going through every closet, cabinet and drawers in my house for a year. It's a ton of work because we've been here for so long. The best part is after it's done it stays that way because the stuff is gone 😁

I am slowly and steadily cleaning out my dresser and closet. Between work switching to a casual look (jeans!) and then work from home, I have so many great business clothes just hanging in my closet. I want to get them donated to one of the local groups like dress for success. Also, that purse? Omg Jen! I’m not a fancy purse person (though I love a classic Kate Spade bag), but that bag was gorgeous 😍 can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it.

My husband & I share a 4' closet. Everything I own fits in my 1/2 (2'). I don't own a dresser. So, no, I am not organizing my closet. I don't store anything anywhere else. I definitely find closets like yours very overwhelming!!

Hi Jen! Would you recommend these hangers for silk blouses? I have a lot of tops I wear to work but am struggling with how to store them as I feel the wooden hangers I currently use in my closet will create a dent in the shoulder area. I don't want to ruin my tops but I'm tired of staring at them in an awkward pile everyday!
