Love a good long closet declutter video! Can I just say though, it's really frustrating when the person helping declutter uses imposes their style to inform the declutter. Emily has such a specific style; the declutter and capsule has to keep that in mind ALSO, if you wear something a lot and really like it... don't get rid of it! Thinking specifically of the "all the same grey sweaters".

100% true Also there is something wrong with the idea of another person giving you a permission to keep your own expensive clothes. The arrogant “FINE” was definitely the annoying part .

I love the relationship between you too, but I don't like the approach of Hanna. She is making you get rid of thinks you love and wear just because she doesn't like them or they look cheap to her. I don't think that a good thing. For example the last coat. It is looking fine. You can clearly see that you would have kept it, if she liked it, but she convinces you that it looks old dn get rid of.

Sometimes, things look better on camera than in real life. Some may have a really bad texture. But I will agree that it is the wrong approach, it should be around Emily's style what she likes and actually wears, not if other people like it or not. Not everyone needs to be elegant and neutral. You can have a capsule wardrobe with any style or colours.😊

Absolutely loved this video!! I went through this crisis recently myself. I turned 30 this year and had style crisis. It was really hard letting go of things I had when I was younger and they held so many memories but I realised that I was no longer that person anymore and I needed to make new memories. I found the severity of this clean out quite fun to watch! It was also quite eye opening to see how we justify keeping certain items, it made me realise how much in my wardrobe I’m keeping because of how much I originally paid, for example, even if it doesn’t really fit!!

I loved that! The last time I did a purge like I let my sister influence me too much. I have reached for many pieces she talked me out of and don't touch ones she had me keep. Can't wait for part two. This is hard at any age, unless you're a minimalist (I am not). ❤️👚👗🧥🧣👖
