It's great to see how you style your clothes and peek into your closet, but most of us have only a tiny fraction of the amount of clothing and space in which to store it. I’ve worn a James Lakeland coat today that I got 15yrs ago and I still adore it. It’s orange, grey and black/brown checks; I get compliments every time I wear it from both men and women. Fab confession as always 💋

It was stressing me out, telling me I had to get out by 9. At first I thought Trinny was in a hotel,room and I thought, how rude. Then I realised she was at home and it made more sense as she is always in the go.😂

I’m grew up in Phoenix which is in the desert of Arizona USA .. very very hot … no coats needed even in the winter.. maybe a jacket. I moved to Denver Colorado and it is cold ( yay ) I was able to indulge my coat obsession.. I bet I have 50 .. so Trinny I can totally relate. I just pulled out one from the 90’s and it is back in style ❤( so happy it still fits 😅)

Thank you so much for the introduction to Joey the Label. What a find! Absolutely love that brand! I also really love the cape you showed us - so stunning on you. As someone who cannot wear capes due to a larger bust (makes me look like a tent!) I instead enjoy wearing wraps. My favorite right now is the Annapurna from another amazing Woman founded UK brand Cocowai. As an hourglass shape I will wear something form fitting like a wrap top or sweater from Kettlewell Colours (Yet another amazing socially conscious UK Woman owned brand). The combination (for my style type and body type) is perfect - stylish and keeps me warm. :). Also @16:17 - I LOVE bright blue on you. Seriously, how gorgeous is that color and look at how it makes your eyes ultra bright! Never underestimate the power of color.

Looking amazing... I keep repeating myself but your radiance is alone... 😂 You don't need the clothing 😂😂 I gest... But coats I have more coats in my wardrobe than my years on this planet... A combination of vintage to the trend present day... Sometimes if I see something I like but quite light i just add another coat underneath with same structure to give it a better fit.... Also I have my sewing machine so I can make ... Adjustments to compliment my size... 😂 😂. I finding as get older I no longer focus on the size of garment but the fit. Also the great thing about having some great coats is that they immediately make one look put together even if your not in the mood to make effort to coordinate what lies beneath... I just keep the coat on 😂😂. ❤

Another great coat brand is Sentaler. It’s lead by a Canadian female designer. Most famously worn by HRH The Princess of Wales (blue, short wool with ribbed sleeves) & The Duchess of Sussex (that long camel wrap coat). I’ve got 3 of them in different styles & colours & love them!! Great quality, warm & elegant. She did a cape early on in the company history & I found it at a consignment store for a great price!

I share your obsession with coats. I never wear unlined coats. As less synthetic fabrics as possible. My beige M mara slightly curled 56 % alpaca/ 44% wool coat is my nr. 1. Deep soft 100% cotton flanel pockets! Split at the back and the sides. Double breasted. Beautiful buttons. Extremely comfortable and warm. Protects against rain ( water repellent like a sheep and an alpaca ;) ) and wind. Excellent stylish in cities and countryside alike. Washable on the hand wash program. Bought it some years ago second hand in perfect condition by e*b*y straight from Milano.

Great brand called protected species do cool coats that are completely waterproof. Have had their mac for years and wore it most days when I lived in Northern English countryside - not needed as much in the UAE !
