I dont remember at the time thinking your straight hair was not always flattering,but seeing these photos now it looks quite ...not you as we know you now. It was a time when women had straight hair or wore a paper bag over their head,but it didnt suit everybody. Of course I was a rebel and refused to straighten mine,which lead to some cutting remarks from men even in a yorkshire fishing town. Strange times indeed!
