As I’ve gotten older I have developed a love for pink. I tend to go for bright hot pink and bright rose. Pale, pastel pink is pretty but it doesn’t do too much for me. I’ve learned that I can wear any color. I think it depends on how close to my face it is. And, I adjust my makeup.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on necklines! So true about people saying 'I can't wear pink/yellow etc....Everybody can wear every colour, it's just about finding the right tint, shades, tones, warmth, depth etc etc... I am fascinated by colour! 🌈

LOVE Lucy's pink skirt. That is the shade of pink I normally go for in clothing. Very chic! I love it when pink and sequins work together. My favorite top from Derek Lam 10 is sequin and a beautiful muted kind of rosy pink. I just love it. x

I love love love your closet videos! May I add another request to a future topic? I am quite good with ideas for layering during cold weather (I live in Canada) but I also need to layer during our hot, humid summers because of a health condition I have. How can I layer in a stylish way without making it look like I have "lost it" when everyone around me is in shorts and sleeveless tops or dresses? And if doing a segment isn't warranted for such a topic, perhaps you could respond to me with a few of your tips. It would be very much appreciated. Stay safe!

Elfriede Schmidt You can buy “sleeves” in various lengths i.e elbow or 3/4 or even wrist length that you can wear under tops/dresses. They come in all colours/styles: Fitted/bell etc in all different materials cotton/mesh/silk hth :)

I used to hate pink on me and loved it on everybody else. I think it’s because as a teen, I purchased a lightish pink cardigan that looked wrong. Looking back I realise it was a warm toned pink and I’m a light summer and one of the main colours besides blue in my colour palette is pink! lol. I now love wearing cool toned pinks.

I've noticed my closet is really getting pink lately. Mostly a bit lighter pinks, but also a black blouse with really bright pink polka dots. Have ordered one black dress with pink and purple (love that combination) and will treat myself to a long pink floral dress soon. Basically saying: I love pink in all sort of ways! I really want to wear pinks and more colors again, like I used to in my 30's & 40's. The problem is finding the right shade to enhance my weird mix mutt neutral olive? tone (Asian-Caucasian) with amber eyes, chestnut haircolor. And the fact that it's SO difficult to find quality clothing that isn't a frumpy design, at ZARA or MANGO prices I can afford!! UGGHHH.
