Hi. Yesterday I worked at Liverpool Central Station. Ladies Day at Aintree, and the platform turned into a runway for the most amazing outfits. Most of the standout outfits of the day were pastel and classic - really classy whites, nudes, pastel, structured, flowy. Very elegant. The ladies looked beautiful. Such beautiful, elegant, grownup outfits you coordinate! An interesting video would be "how to wear pastels" for every complexion and coloring. I see how beautifully you wear the whites and pale pinks as a light-complexioned blonde, but I can't seem to make pastels for me. And they're so trendy! I guess you'd need to use some of your friends as models (?), but I'd love to see how you'd put this together.

The difference between a classy/classic look and a trendy look is that the first will always suit you and will always look good regardless of what styles come and go (ie: Chanel). Trends are not for everyone. Pick colours that suit your specific skin tone and undertone and you won't have to worry about forcing it to work for you. Just like not everyone can wear black, not everyone can wear neons or pastels.

You have helped me so much. From N.Y.C & Las Vegas excitement we moved to a small town in Utah. We have horses though! You've reminded me to take care of myself & dress nice even if I'm just running errands.In just a couple of days I overhauled my closet. Clothes I can only use once a year because they're more formal, or they are still hanging up with the price tag, I am returning. I'm learning to love whilte, cream, beige, soft pinks.I started matching things together & you're so right. When you get rid of the fad clothing, you can start mix-matching all these wonderful outfits together. Because of you I am looking for a timeless pair of beige leather mules. And I ordered a another white shirt & a pale pink sweater. And of course, I'll eventually need a basic white turtleneck. Thank you for going over how to wash your clothing gently too. Lovely Videos. I love that you are giving your old clothes to charity! I do the same. I think I buy way too much even though I know I don't need it (I don't work in fashion) and I think the over production isn't great for our environment BUT I don't ever throw things away - I always bring them to charity because I think at least I'm doing something good with them. I have 2 wardrobes-one is a wardrobe room -double trouble! I also have 2 mini closets full of coats🙊! Sometimes the more room you have the more stuff you buy😂! Also been cleaning out big time because part of my issue is that I hang on to things for years even if I'm not wearing them because I think, "maybe I'll regret tossing it". I never do once it's gone! What is your spring like? in the southern part of VA, we get all 4 seasons but they move fast. The winter is finally over! And spring is up and down 55 one day and 77 the next :) I love coats but we can't wear any of the comfy coats and sweaters now. Give it a month and it will be near 90 with 100% humidity and feel like death haha but I love all of your coats so much- jealous you get longer to wear them :)

you should try an app called "smart closet" it changed my life. You can track what´s in your closet, which items you want. You can also mix them all to an outfit... it tracks the value, sorts by color/ season/occacions... love it!

This is great, those Miss KG pink sandals I loved them so much but when I put them on, the back of the shoes with the strap went too high up my ankle & rubbed a bit for me!
