I love how the closet turned out! I have to use a ladder in my closet too. #funsizeproblems I would suggest you get some dust bags or even inexpensive pillow cases to store your purses in. Dust can ruin leather and be hard to get off.

Love the closet it turned out nice. I had those same hangers as you and got tired of the way my clothes were looking on them so I decided to try out the joy mangano huggable hangers for my husband's and I closet and it's a true space saver. The hangers are of velvet fabric so your clothes don't fall off, and there thin enough so that you can hold alot of clothes on one rack, check them out to see if you like them. Got mine from target.

For your hard to reach clothing items, you can also get one of those hooks they use in stores to get the clothes down from high places. Love how you were able to create a closet system that not only looks good but maximized your space as well!

Seems as if everyone beat me to my suggestion for the huggable hangers. When I moved from the plastic to the huggable, it doubled the amount of clothes I could hang. Lots of colors avaiable to Ross, Marshalls, TJ MAxx & Home Goods....and you can get PINK!!! I think the ones at Costco at the best deal and are the most sturdy, but I sometimes see them at Bed Bath & Beyond (20% coupon!) They also have kids sizes ones - I use them in my baby's closet. Love how your closet turned out. A hanger swap will give you space to grow!

I recently had my closet done by ClosetbyDesign and they were awesome. It took them less than 3 hours to take out the old closet and put in my custom closet. I look my closet and sometimes I just stand in it marveling at it.

Great job Looks fantastic, if you change your hangers to those skinny fit ones it would make the space look even nicer. They also have the extension hangers (similar to a pant hanger) for your dresses so that they don't drag the floor.

you count mount a post sticking out of the side of the shelves where you have your jeans (ion the side where the step ladder is) and keep your long dresses there. i feel like you'll eventually want to get more regular use of those hooks behind the door rather than leaving your wedding dresses and that glitter dress there. and just put the glittery dress in a garment bag or put that one on the post first so it's right up against the side of the bookcase thing and you won't have to worry about it!

Felt hangers would give you more space and are aesthetically pleasing than plastic hangers. Putting your pants in labeled bins would give you a much cleaner look. Altogether, beautiful closet!

hey tiff i promise if you put every section color coordinated lights to darks or darks to lights it makes a huge difference and really helps you see what colors you do and dont have i have done my closet and draws this way it keeps you aware of what you really have. Hey Tiff, I saw on Tiarras channel that she and her husband were going to DR this summer and I shared with her the info about the zeeke virus that is spread via mosquitoes. It is very dangerous to women if they are considering having any (more) kids. If you get bitten by a mosquito carrying the virus it can do harm to your future children. I don't know if it has been on your news, but it has been all over my news for the past 6 or so months. Please look into this further before you travel there. Blessings
