i think it's better to get the walls for every apartment, and get as many tenants as possible. therefore don't turn the logs into chairs? use the planks for walls instead?

I think Max's speech dialogue is just the developer saying "mash," looped, at different pitches.

Almost certainly. I edit at 2x speed and quite a lot seems slowed 50-60% - especially the music. Some of these tracks are really great and I wonder where they come from
