You should try True Stalker. It's several years after the events from the trilogy and the world has changed quite a bit. I've been enjoying it a lot.

Tough place to be... 🤕 @27:24 it looks like you passed up on my favourite pistol in the game, a FNX-45 Tactical: .45 Full Auto 15 Round Mag Size Integrated scope and supressor for a one-handed full-auto with loaded with Hyro-Shock, I think it's hard to beat... (also I think there may be a noisy version) If you want to check the viability of a shotgun, take a shotgun, a bucketload of buckshot, a hunting backpack and go to Darkscape - it's a hunters paradise. No Stalkers (except a trader and a tech) and it's packed full of animals. If you haven't got the skinning or the box breaking achiements yet, you should have by the time you leave - there's plenty of oppourtunity for both. You should come back laden with easy loot and animal parts for sale. I would recommend taking a pack to use for a stash though, because i couldn't find a single container on the entire map. Also, if you're very lucky you'll have found four good artifacts in the three anomalys there... 🤗 Also a shotgun saves you money in the long run, two good blasts from a shotgun kills most mid to low-teir mutants verses multiple assult rifle rounds (which are more expensive). 😉

When the enemy panic reloads, it's a jam. They don't use unique animations for jams unfortunately

The Red Forest map seen in Anomaly is actually a Clear Sky map (the one with the bridge to Limansk). The map in Anomaly called "Radar" was called 'Red Forest' in SoC, but since the SoC version is just a linear road to brainscorcher they renamed the SoC version to Radar and kept the name for Red Forest location for the CS version. Also +1 for a GAMMA playthrough, would love to see that :D

I went in with like 500 bullets and thought that would be plenty, but a combination of being a bad shot, and a lot of things to shoot at, I ran out.

Colonists can tend while drafted, no need for outdoor sleeping spot! It was a much needed quality of life addition

A floater dealt half my health in one shot for some odd reason once. Horrifying creatures, they are. I even had the reinforced dive suit on.

I would suggest researching advanced lights, this will unlock the floodlights and reduce the power consumption of all lamps by half, oh and you can also change the colors of the lamps. This does not include the sun lamps. The research normally costs 300 points, which would be 600 or 750 for you, but it should still be a good help against the darkness.

Man the bugs just wanted to go home too! I wouldnt be suprised that by you attacking them started it all haha. I would guess that why they didnt attack in the labyrint and overworld is that they dont aggro unless you get too close to their nests, attack them or an forced event?
