Hey Matt, I've had a similar injury and it's something called "jumpers knee" which is related to hard impacts on your knee from landing on it and over stretching the patella tendon (ligament). But if the scar tissue doesn't heal, it'll become a chronic knee pain. So try to get as much rest and ice on it as you can to heal it! The adventure was awesome and I hope to see more content like this!

So my suggestion is for Matt to do a solo trip of the PCT in one go. I think Matt has very special and unique gifts that should be fully expressed. I feel Matt deserves to express his running art of trailing to its full potential. I believe Matt is a one-of-a-kind guy and if he took the PCT in one event, he could most likely set a new world record, or if my opinion be told, crush the current world record. Not so much for the glory but for the honor of expressing your self and setting a new level of competition. Imagine how many people he will be able to affect with a title like that for years and years to come.
