Hi, I just received the same planner and I have one question: does your planner lays flat? Because my does not and if I force it I see that the leather creases pretty badly on the back.

Oh no! I'm so sorry you're having this struggle! Mine lays flat, however I do have it filled with lots of dividers and pages so the weight of it keeps it down. Sometimes I take the sheets out while I'm planning and put them back in, especially if I'm writing on the left side and the rings are getting in the way of my writing hand. Hope this helps a little

Did you know that there is a thin protective film over the small plastic calendar? Peel it off and the piece is clear instead of frosted. Also the inbox page has a protective film.

I felt that way about contact pages too (it's in my phone) and felt a bit frustrated and wasteful, in this day and age, that it is included in every yearly pack or some new planner purchases. Then when I took a step back, I decided it would be helpful to have a page in my health section, a page in my finance section, another page in my blog section, etc. with the relevant contact info, health plan #s and passwords that is easy to refer to. The downside is that it is more areas to update when changing password etc. That way when I'm working on my finances or scheduling appointments I could pull out that page from binder and have it in front of me. Especially with paying multiple bills online in one sitting. I don't do automatic saves on my passwords on anything except media (NYT, etc.) and I do very little automatic payments so I always input and it can be cumbersome on bill day.

100% with you girl! it does feel so wasteful that it's included in so many planners. so smart to write down the health plans/passwords but yah, the updating everywhere part is my issue as well and can get me in trouble if I end up forgetting about something/miss a payment date... which has happened before and has literally destroyed my credit because of one stinking payment that I had no idea i was missing for several months. UGH what a world, that's why i do autopayments and definitely keep track of my subscription services. I've started using my finance section as a wish list actually and that's been fun! (weird choice of words to use fun... but honestly it's helped me with saving more at the end of each month..) :)
