This is the way I've stripped/sanitized ( same thing IMO) our cloth diapers for 9 babies and for 16 years. They're still holding strong, many of the diapers we have reused for 7 kids. Once we used this method, our diapers NEVER gave our babies barnyard rash. Ever!

Your cloth diaper videos are actually a large part of how I found mommy vloggers and TTC stuff. It started a tornado of information!

@@whitneysworld I don't have littles yet (I'm on my TTC journey) but I had decided I wanted to do cloth diapers years ago. I had been building my stash and one of your "oh look how easy it is" videos is how I convinced my husband to jump on the bandwagon. Lol

I'm sorry, that person sounds rude. I've heard "stripping" and "sanitizing" used interchangeably. The important thing to remember (for me) is that they both can get your diapers cleaner and remove stains, they both are harsh on diapers, and sanitizing with bleach is the only way to truly clean and make used diapers safe. For me, when I bought my used diapers (for my coming baby) I "stripped" them first with a Mighty Bubbles soak and wash, then did a 30 minute sanitizing soak with bleach, then rewashed as normal to remove any last residue and bleach.

Absolutely! What’s wrong with wanting things clean lol

Couldn't you also sanitize with hydrogen peroxide?
@semisweetchild Жыл бұрын
You could kill some germs with hydrogen peroxide, but to kill yeast you need to use bleach. You don't know if the person you bought used from ever had yeast, so to be safe you should use bleach on anything you buy used. @@kristine33
