I go to the thrift store all the time. Our Tshirts start at $4.00 and jeans start at $12.00. They will take their donations to the landfill before marking anything down and they never put anything on sale.

You can freeze those donuts and then pull one out when you want one. Pre freeze them in a single layer before wrapping them in parchment paper and put them in a ziplock bag. Just put them in the fridge to defrost. That way you can enjoy them longer!

Nice all those t-shirts. I used to go to a thrift store in Chapel Hill NC and they give you a bag and the bag cost 5.00 all you can fit inside even shoes. It was very nice. I wouldn’t watch an horror movie in October in a camping place I would be too scared. 😁 but I’m glad you like them. ❤ Love Kristy Kreme doughnuts.

We don't have any nice thrift stores in MN like that. I've stopped going to any of them. They are so overpriced for things they receive for free. There isn't a bargain to be found in any of them. You are so lucky to have the stores you have. I am amazed at the prices and your choice of things. There would never be anything free at any of our stores.

I went thrifting on Saturday in my local shops. I got 4 branded T-shirts for 50p each, a pair of sketchers in my size for £7.50 and some jewellery - 2 pieces for £1 each. Great haul too.

Awesome haul, Granny ❤. I thrifted today, too. I have been going to all sorts of thrifts within an hour of me looking for glass votive holders that fit on a candelabra as I broke 2 of the originals. Can you believe it, I finally went to a thrift in my local town and after searching all over, they had them at the local store and they are heavy crystal (harder to break)and only $1 each. I don't mind that they don't all match. They are all the same clear color. 😊 Eventually, it's at the thrift store.

Granny, and anyone else whom this helps, when I go thrift shopping, I have a list of things I am looking for. I will measure a pair of good fitting pants, waist, hips, length, etc, then when I find something and there is no fitting room, I can measure them before I decide to buy. I carry a pair of socks in my purse if I am wearing sandals, so I can try on shoes. My thrift stores closed the fitting rooms when the C virus hit, and have never reopened them. I do wish I could find good prices like at your store, but I can still save money on my needs.

I love when you can get clothes for a great price. I'm 6ft 2 3/4 inches and it's hard finding clothes from thrift stores at that price. Most of the clothes are for smaller sized people. It would be great to purchase jeans at a low cost. I usually have to special order them and spend between $40-$80 a pair. So when I buy pants, I keep them for a long time.

I have a rule with myself. When I go to sales or thrift stores I do not even look at clothes unless there is something that I need. I buy on need and not want or because it is cute or I like the color. No matter what a good deal they are I pass them up. I have enough clothes and a good variety. As for movies, we have a large collection already so unless there is a movie that we really want as a Christmas gift to each other, we do not even look at them either. I know some would disagree with me, but that is okay. I believe that the Lord wants us to be good stewards of our money and send it wisely.

We watch old reruns all the time like Gunsmoke and Wagon Train. Movies are the same....I giggle because one of my favorite chick flicks is Pretty Woman and my husband likes it also. I bet we have watched Where the Red Fern Grows 10 times over the years and Call of the Wild too! We enjoy old classic movies! ❤
