The table looks great! You could totally do a faux marbel finish if you wanted, or go to a marbel/ granite retailer. They may have left over stone from previous projects where you can have it cut to size for a small fee...or keep it the way you have it cause it looks awesome!!

I would have bleached the top. You would have been able to get it quite a bit lighter while still keeping the timber grain.

You can pour a clear layer of resin ontop of the white and then get one of those faux marble kits, and then another layer of clear resin!

Emily I love the table!! I don’t think you even need the marble if you don’t find it. It’s gorgeous with your lovely room. Great clothes finds as well. I’m constantly looking for vintage brass - mostly candlesticks and planters and would love to see you use some of those if you feel like they would go with your aesthetic. I love the look of aged brass 😍❤️

For the marble look you could try painting the veining on and then pouring resin over it. I’ve only seen it done on old countertops but I’m sure you could find something on KZbin 😊. Good luck and if you don’t do anything else it looks really pretty the way it is😍

Granite or quartz!! I'd call a countertop fabricator, and see what a remnant would cost. They usually charge by the square footage

I love the table! Great find. Try and look for quartz retailer. You might be able to find an odd piece and have them cut it. Or you can faux finish it in a marble?! Sounds harder than it really is. You basically have the base coat. You use a goose feather to make the marbling. Watch a video. Practice on a board. See how you like it? I like it painted as is too.

Look up stone supply stores. You’ll probably find a short stock piece of some kind of quarried stone.

vintage wooden curtain rings, leather, felts, old chunky wooden bead necklaces and textured fabrics all make awesome neutral and subtle christmas decorations. bonus is i have 3 little ones and never have to worry about them breaking.

If you can't find a marble/granite/quartz top for the table, you should look into the peel and stick marble vinyl that people use to redo their kitchen/bath counter tops!

It would probably be more budget friendly to find a marble/ granite table on marketplace instead of having one cut 👌🏼 Also, don’t know if it interests you, but I’ve recently discovered Kibbe body types and it has helped SO much in understanding why certain clothes fit better than others!

I love the legs on that coffee table! A very mcm vibe-- very sleek. I agree with another commenter that you could get a marble or limestone remnant and have it cut to size. Especially with how little you paid for the table it would still be a bargain
