I was NOT expecting that to happen when I first saw the movie, It was probably the first time I have ever seen a movie where you actually see someone LAND after falling from a high height. XP

This is a simple but very shocking scene thanks to the perfect balance between gore and psychological aspect. I LOOOOOOVE THAT !!!

Even in a brief, scenery-chewing role like this, Hanks works in his brilliance - check out the shot at 0:45 and the look on his face after Finch's scathingly hurtful insult and the crowd's reaction. Up until that point, I think Hoggins was probably just planning to deck him or something, but in that moment you can really feel him break and then decide(at 0:55) he's going to murder the guy. Powerful moment in keeping with the weight of the overall film, in this otherwise mostly dark-comic scene.

@dickslap37 I was also disturbed since you don’t really see someone in a movie splash on the ground very often. Its not the typical Hollywood-violent-free-mambo jambo. But I was really surprised that the movie was allowed for 12-year olds. I watched the film when I was thirteen. I was shocked and fascinated at the when I came out of the cinema. I love this film. And this is exactly what a good film should make you feel: Happiness, Fascination and Horror at the same time. The most important thing is that the movie makes you think and use your head. Its still underrated and mostly undiscovered by the general public :-(
