These are not usually the colors that I fall in love with my O.M.G. I LOVE THIS PAINTING!! If I could budget in a painting I would deff want to own this beauty. I can see so much in it. Oh my gosh! I will try to not write a novel! I am learning and you are feeding me!!! WE ARE IN LOVE WITH YOUR PAINTING! Love the orange! Yee Haw! Thank you so much for showing us your process!!! MelyD.artist, you just keeping getting better! Thank you for bringing us along on your evolution! Many of us get "lucky" when we pour. Then we want to know the "how's" and the "why's" to be able to "recreate" the essence of the painting. I want to learn - Cloud mix / satin enamel produces a reaction. DecoArt metalllics produce a reaction. Other brands of metallics kind of produce the same reaction. Why? :) :) :) Yep!!! I am learning and loving it! And the husband is impressed! SWEET! Yes, mixing the satin enamel with another brand of acrylic paint does reduce the amount of reaction! Black is a most unique pigment. In polymer clay, it is the most difficult to sand. When I was out of black, I used the honey gold satin enamel...but I mixed it with an acrylic paint. Using it solo is on my list! I am thrilled over the enamel's reactions in this painting!!!l Especially the black's reaction on the long side closest to you. Again, thank you for showing us your process!!! LOVE this painting!
