I really hope Cloud and Aerith reunited in Part 3, everybody knows that even the dev teams of FF7 that Clerith is Canon, period. From the lyrics i guess they will meet each other "on our street" (where they first met) and "in a chance that we'll share a glance". I am being hopeful here that, .Aerith is alive after the planet is saved, and that Cloud and Aerith meet "on our street" probably a dream or in real life. Then Cloud will go to "their place" the flower bed at the church where Aerith waited for him. That will be the best ending of the FF7 series

That is perhaps if there is another version where Cloud successfully prevented Aerith from being dead, then there is a chance for Clerith. I mean so far, when it comes to creating Rebirth, it is about Zack being saved and lived long enough for him to drag Cloud to Midgar. That right there can be considered a timeline change. So if there is an alternate timeline where Aerith does not die, then Aerith would not reunite with Zack. Originally, Aerith would go for Cloud due to her needing to move on from Zack and plus Aerith did fall in love due to Cloud having a same persona as Zack. It is proven that Rebirth does not connect to Advent Children because Cloud still remembers Zack not being able to make it to Midgar alive.

I really hope they reunite also. And yes Clerith is canon. Honestly, in my opinion, CloTi is just a bunch of fan fiction. The original artwork by Yoshitaka Amano, only dipicted Cloud and Aerith. There was no promo material featuring Cloud and Tifa as a couple at all. Every Final Fantasy event in Japan always features Cloud and Aerith. Every time there are FF7 characters included in another game it's always them. Look at Itadaki Street. It features them and even has Cloud (voiced by the actual Japanese voice actor) talking about the Goldsaucer date which is the canon date. Just try and put a CloTi video together and you'll have a hell of a time trying to find enough content. Especially from the Remake project.
