Miyano Mamoru, he's so good, but you can tell it's him, I mean when you hear other characters done by him. For example, Okabe from Steins;Gate or Dazai from Bungou Stray Dogs or Kida from Durarara!! etc... My fav is Kamiya Hiroshi but he has the same problem as Miyano, his voice doesn't really change, 'n you can tell it's him. I guess the most talented would be Fukuyama Jun, because his voice changed from character to another

I like that Miyazaki was that involved with the voice recording sessions. I guess when your name is front and center on all your work you probably stay involved in the whole process.

It's crazy how they don't feel awkward making those in between word grunts and breaths/sighs they usually do in anime as they are acting. It sounds awkward but it's so common that it's like it's nothing to them! I envy their talent!! But it makes me so happy! :3

Why can't people just acknowledge the work of japanese voice actors and their counterparts in other countries at the same time? There's nothing wrong with liking Japanese as a language more than i.e. English, BUT saying that only Japanese VA's are able to convey 'true emotions' is just not right IMO, speaking english and speaking japanese simply cannot be compared! Please remember that every language has it's own way unique of expressing emotions, comparing them is just not right.

OMG. Weren't they all just wonderful. What a talent, no amount of training could produce this kind of talent. When you watch some American movie stars trying to act, they're just a joke. Yet, seiyuu don't get much money doing this. Compare their $300 -$500 per episode to the Simpsons £300,000 per episode.

Low resolution video quality can base on many things, while transferring from device to device, or film from a phone. there's many reason, and even though if they do film it, it's not like that they're making a movie or something, so they only doesn't temporarily.

I think it's just a simple matter of how far the industry has developed in voice acting. This is particularly prominant when you consider the fact that often big voice roles are given to "familiar" hollywood actors and actresses who are, with all due respect, not voice specialists. I can understand why some western viewers perceive so much more art in the Japanese dub when they're so much more investigative in their approach.

@Yetineko in japan it's not easy to become a seiyu. most of the seiyuus graduated from seiyuu academy and done vigourous training(crying,screaming). lol You also need a little bit of good looks.

@piromaniac9999 maybe anime from the 90's changed names for foreign seiyu - but nowadays they mostly don't change it anymore (like they did with Initial D) most foreign, but mainly english speaking countries have problems with pronouncing japanese names. they stress parts of a word too much, if you know what I mean. I think there are good foreign Seiyu (e.g.Voice Actor of Alucard, really deep and dark voice) - but japanese put way more effort and heart into their voice acting.
