Cloudland Canyon State Park | New HUGE RV Sites!

Thanks for the update and the pictures of the map. I think I booked a pull through on the outer side of the west loop, site 19 (old 14). The new sites look nice, but no vegetation at all for privacy or shade. I was torn between the East and West loop, but a few sites on the West have sewer. Not necessary but sure nice to have if you can get it.

The pull through sites lack privacy, but they are huge and have room in between. We have always enjoyed this park and it’s nice to see the state putting in the effort to do upgrades and improvements!

Thanks for the update on Cloudland. I knew the east rim had been renovated, but didn't know the west rim was redone, too.

The renovation look great. We had looked forward to our eservations there for the last two Mays , (both booked nearly a year in advance), but had to cancel the first due to health issue, and was knocked out of last May when they scheduled renovations. We haven't had a chance to schedule once again, but we certainly plan to in the future. Maybe you could do a site by site view like "Downsizing Makes Cents"? Did they upgrade to 50 amp service and add full hookups as they did at Vogel and Reed Bingham? Really enjoy your videos!

Thanks for the informative video! We have a 1 year old and a reflection 5th wheel as well! Which rim would you recommend we stay on? We will only have 3 nights to stay since we are passing through.

Definitely the West Rim. It is more spacious and has a much better ambiance than the East Rim.

Can you give some advise on traveling there through the mountains - we will be coming up 75North from Atlanta? Mainly, are the roads very curvy or steep to the campground? TIA! and great videos!

The road leading up to the park is curvy and somewhat steep in spots but there is plenty of room to swing out wide on the turns if need be. Never felt sketchy or dangerous. It’s a great campground and state park, enjoy!
