Can I provision a pool of computer instance on GCP (i.e. 20 instances) and run sidero like it's bare metal?

For that, you’d use Cluster API directly, combined with Talos OS. Basically, you’d use GCP as infrastructure provider, and Talos as both bootstrap provider, and control-plane provider; then, you’d have what you saw in the demo on the cloud. Sidero Metal is trying to bring that cloud experience to the bare metal installations.

Such automation is nothing new and can be rather achieved in many ways having the network configured, what is more, I believe by 'network configured' you meant working OS deployed or Intel vPro or iDRAC preconfigured nodes, am I correct? I have seen implementations of such stack using MaaS, iDrac native Python API, Ansible-Playbooks for K8s baremetal etc. Could you explain what makes Sidero and this whole stack unique?

I've also used such systems but there were not integrated with or even used together with Kubernetes. What's the relation with Kubernetes in the design you describe?
