For example allowing you could cusomtize the liberator with the commando RoF but no green skin unless you buy it. Most live service games go for cosmpetics so there's no reason this one can't and it avoids them having the incentive to keep selling slight variants.

Tarsh currently has less enemy resistance than Mastia. If we take Tarsh, then there wont be any resistance on Mastia because its gonna be completely cutoff from the bot planets

Theres no confirmation that cutting off planets affects planet resistance rates. Those are set by Joel, and he could choose to lower them if we cut off a planet but he most likely wont for a long time. Martale was at 1.50% resistance for about a month and a half until he lowered it to .50% almost two weeks ago and turned it to 0.00% just at the start of the last MO

I think this is the lore reason for the unit balancing they will have to do when the full illuminate force strikes - there will be fewer voteless. If they're adding additional unit types, they can't keep the same number of voteless on the battlefield without it being imbalanced.

Outcasts were of the Illuminate race, not former humans. Think would-be overseers who failed to become illuminated. They're sent in with only a couple of knives and a cloaking device. The sniper Illuminates were called hunters, using electropulse gauntlets. It was telegraphed for a long time but was a one-shot kill to divers without shields or the emergency teleport. That said I think they'll be called something different this time, like they could be the magus

I think some type of exoskeleton stratagem would be awesome, maybe taking a backpack slot, and it would make helldivers run faster. So you don’t feel so sluggish running in heavy armor, and you feel even faster in light armor.

As i have said many times instead of just a minigun that takes up a weapon slot it would be better to have an exo suit that has the minigun included which has a pack of ammo included. The exo suitocould take care of the recoil and it could have a jet assisted dash that could knock down light armor enemies and could provide more defense.

I still think that a back pack stratagem for Belt fed weapons would be goated. Just make the reserve magazines be put into the current magazine so you could theoretically fire forever if given enough resupplies. it would eliminate the drawbacks for the slow reloads while being balanced since you now no longer have access to the backpack slot. Won't have to rework how recoil and MGs work and it would allow an easier implementation of future belt fed weapons. The Grenade launcher is already beltfed so imagine it being able to fire 40 rounds without having to reload it.

If it goes into the customization which we're hoping for, I'd like suppressors. Not simply to silence our AR's and sniper rifles for covert missions, but suppressors can also mitigate muzzle flash, which can come in handy if for example, you're trying to aim more carefully through the red dot of a machinegun in this game. Let's be real, the muzzle flash can obstruct your view and make you not even realize that your target is no longer where you're aiming.

After Gas Mines are released. Next Strats need to focus on Electric. Would be good to get an Electric Field Grid. It's mines (obviously) but after they spread out they link into a Arc grid and shock everything that walks across an arc. Only Explosions and Guns can blow up the mines. Sentry Rail Gun , Each bullet 15 ammo, Fires at max Overcharge Damage. Arc Launcher, It's a GL, but shoots Grenades the explode on impact and arc lightning explodes to surrounding enemies, damage equivalent to 75% of the Tesla Tower attack.

The clone legions and helldivers are practically identical in what they are fundamentally and there's nothing saying that if they did do a crossover that the couldn't do a new "original" legion that does fit the lore more, they don't have to say "this is clone trooper armour" they could just say armour inspired by tales of a war from a galaxy beyond our own. There's ways to make things fit and be on brand without "fortnite-ifying" the game.

Stormtrooper inspired armor could give you a 100% buff against standard weapon fire. Fun fact: stormtrooper armor can actually take more damage than it looks like, most of them don't die but simply faint according to the design of the armor. And clone trooper phase I inspired armor could give you a buff against explosives

The Best crossovers imo would be - GDI ( Command and Conquer ), Clone Troopers, Starship Troopers, Helghast ( already done ), and Imperial Guard (40k) imo. ODST since Helghast has been done, thats it

And not just the Imperial Guard from 40k. The *Drop Troops* from the Imperial Guard (Elysian, Harakoni Warhawks, etc). This means Krieg is not 100% guaranteed (though quite possible), but the Inquisitorial Stormtroopers probably are. Also, I love how the Helldivers universe proves that making a political statement works when it's not overt and in people's face (as if there was need to prove it...).

In HD1, the MGX-42 had 1000 rds to blow through if i remembered. The newer model is the MG-206 Heavy Machine Gun. And as you know, there would be a problem trying to cram 1000 rds into that magazine since AH models their bullets to actual size and quantity to fit.

I understand people want the tank from HD1 really badly, but yall are missing out. The most useful vehicle aside from the mechs in HD1 was the M5-32 HAV it has a 90mm cannon (starting ammo 25 upgraded to 50) and two MGs(starting ammo 750x2 upgraded to 1000x2) on it. It was by far my favorite vehicle for getting the team around the map.

You could take a different stratagem that isn't the gatling turret if you have a minigun. You would essentially become a walking turret with a minigun as well. Besides, how often are people going to stay stealthy and how often are people going to be spotted by an enemy that they didn't see? Edit: Not saying that there shouldn't be any form of stealth weaponry but you could have many different stratagems like Eagle Strikes and Barrages or a Mech or the vehicle with the turret. Edit 2: I would be down for an ODST collab.

I'd like a hacking drone backpack. You get in range of an enemy vehicle and it latches on and then you need to hit the first series of arrows like a stratagem. It then starts hacking over 30 seconds. If you keep punching in arrows as they display you cut down a few seconds each time. After which it marks all enemy forces as hostile and attacks them instead so long as the drone is attached. If you use the strat again the drone can either explode taking out the first vehicle or release and return to you. Or the helldiver can move over and stand on the drone and control the vehicle directly through it like a mobile weapons platform at the expense of being dangerously exposed.

Please share this with the community. The GUARD DOG can be manually reloaded now. If we call it back to the backpack, it's eject the magazine now and inserts a full one from the backpack. (Note, the ammo in the ejected magazine is lost, wasted) The chance give an opportunity for a tactical reload before encounter if the Guard Dog is low on ammo. Problem with minigun is implementation and HD devs stated that multiple times especially as a portable weapon, meanwhile suppressed weapons have been tested in the early months via devs releasing them to players in single missions and they worked fine and just need adding probably via next warbond (and its almost time for the next free warbond given 1 year anni is next month)

The ODST armors are good for helldivers but I would also like to see the Reach like armors not so much because they are from Halo but more to add the idea that you can customize the armor so that it fits a little better to some playstyle and in turn for fashion, it would give some player expression so every helldiver looks a bit different Being able to place a grenade launcher ammo belt or more ammo of x thing, maybe not so much in the ammo grounds but also in things like supplies, some extra stim, something that gives a temporary buff to your teammates, things like that

What we have right now is a single constellation. The MO is just one step to giving us the other units and there for constellations. I would think of the voidless like the bile spewers. There rarer then you thing but you always remember them more

I think the votelss turning into the squids is pretty good idea. They might be getting it from the District 9 movie. Since Super Earth “completely eradicated” the illuminate, it would make sense that they developed a way to turn their enemies into their own people out of revenge. Cool lore idea👍🏼

Nah, voteless are a core part of the illuminate kit. Currently the voteless ensure that you have to divide your attention between them and the ellivated/harvesters and scouts. Illuminate are all about coming at you with things that don't stack on top of eachother like bots and bugs do.

Suppressed weapons, or another bullet hose? We already have a 2k rpm crew served weapon system. Just have two guys run the Stalwart 😂. But seriously, having meaningfully different gameplay options with stealth guns would be much cooler than just more/bigger dakka. Alternatively, if they made the crew served weapons better to counteract how solo oriented high level/meta play is, I'd love to see more crew served weapons.

The only way I want a mini gun is if it's a 1000 round 1 time use stronger scythe , lowish recoil , giant battery , causes increased stamina consumption , ignites enimies too. Essentially a walking turret.

Its not imperial army, its an Elysian Drop Trooper. A division of the imperial guard that primary uses jetpacks and grav insertion like ODSTs and HellDivers

Suppressed weapons might be cool, but subtlety is not really what helldivers are known for, I think a minigun would line up better with helldivers canon. Personally I’ll be happy with either, even tho I’m not much of a stealth diver, there are many that enjoy that play style and there isn’t much in the game that supports that and it would be nice to have something that caters to those players as well.

Regarding the new MO, more divers are on the planet with the higher resistance....Ideally we would finish Martale, liberate that sector, then work in the planet in the mo with the lowest resistance..

I am allways thinking "Man i need more strat slots" like I have all this cool stuff I suffer deciding what to bring to the party this time. This may be an unpopular opinion I can see how this can be broken relly easy, but having a system that allows for on free support strat, even just extra, could allow to bring more offensive, like barrages or eagles, and who knows, maybe a better dificulty as, if the Helldivers have more tools, it can meant more ways to solve harder problems
