Hi. Thanks to your video I purchased 100g on Cloud spot. I had great difficulty understanding the watermarking. Now I deleted the two gallaries I set up for clients, and they say I used all my space, with not one picture up! How can that be? Thanks.

Wait whaaaat? Cloudspot runs your images through jpegmini?? what if I've already reduced my file size when exporting from lightroom, it's going to reduce them again? Can this be turned off?? I don't like the idea of not having control over that.

You can set up a "Custom Fulfillment" option where the sale does not get sent to a print lab.

Great video! I had wondered if this was a plugin for your website or a stand alone site. I have two questions, do you need a website to use this or can you just insert your company name? Second, can you add to galleries/catalogs after they have been created? I shoot sports (generally my own kid's team) and would love to create a catalog for the team's tournaments/season. Each weekend has say 4 games. Can I upload one game, then add game 2, 3, and 4 later? -or each weekend game of a season? I ask because I would like to offer the parents the ability to purchase prints to defray costs of running the galleries but want to make sure they can pick shots from multiple games and incur one shipping charge. The whole drive/dropbox thing isn't working that great. Oh and I lied... 3 questions... To use the JPEGmini do you have to have the JPEG mini software purchased, or will the site do that work automatically, and will anyone downloading need to use a JPEG mini app, or does it work flawlessly on any phone/computer?

Hey Mike! Great question! 1: CloudSpot is a stand alone site that can operate separately from a personal website. 2: Yes you can add additiional images and gallery folders after a gallery is published. I do this for weddings. Ill make a gallery for a couples engagement session, then after the wedding add a wedding folder to the same gallery to avoid confusion for the couple. 3: JPEGmini is built in to CloudSpot and works in the background. So theres nothing you need to do or have installed on your part or on the part of your client. CloudSpot just does it! I hope that helps Mike!

Been doing photography for 15 years but now i want to use this kind of service for my own personal art collections cuz im no longer taking clients in. So i dont need all the features but love thats its there for the rare times that i do take on a client. Thank you. One more qeustion. Do they offer tons of print options like mugs, shirts, calendars etc?

Mike love your content, very helpful. I am a sports photographer and need a better way to sell my photos. My contracted clients are not an issue, but I found that if I just show up at a game or tournaments and parents see me with my camera, I usually make 300 to 400 dollars from random parents who ask to purchase the photos. I would like to find a platform that would allow me to let the parents know to just go on their and buy whatever photo they want. Currently I tell the parents to follow me on Instagram and when they see one of their game photos, they can direct message me and I will send them the photos and they can PayPal me. I feel I'm missing out, especially with the passive income. I would like to tell parents to go to Cloud Spot or a platform and purchase the photos. I don't want to have to collect and send lots of emails out to parents to look at what photos I took. Any suggestions. Thank You

Create a gallery in CloudSpot for the event before you show up and shoot it. Make sure you enable email capture, and upload a photo that says something to the effect of "Photos will be ready 24 hours after the event, come back to view your photos then". Create a QR code with that points to the CS gallery, print out small copies and staple them to a business card and hand them out at the event. Parents will scan and then be taken to the gallery, they will enter in their email address, they will see a photo that says when images will be ready (pro tip include a small gallery of your best work and title it something like "The types of images you can look forward to for your child"). When the photos are ready, upload them to your CS gallery and then in CS you can send an email to everyone who has registered for that gallery letting them know their childs photos are ready.
