Use cloudwheels over a year now and they is wonderful and so safe !. Love them :)

Softens the ride on rough surfaces but not great grip and on wet very slippery.

cloud wheels are good for a particular need. They are good at bad streets and light grass and other semi offroad stuff. they are quite light and they don't impact the range much compared to bigger street wheels or air filled tires. they aren't as good offroad as tire and aren't as good onroad as pu wheels but they are a hybrid so its logical. some people say there bad because they don't do one thing good but others say there good because they can do multiple things well enough. btw I got the 105's I've ridden 300km+ on them and they hold up good, I also recently got the 120's they aren't fully ridden in so I can't judge on them jet

I got the 120’s on my ownboard Zeus. So far I really enjoy them. They take about 100 miles to really break in and flatten out a bit giving you more contact surface. Great wheel in my book.
@Daveyboii872 жыл бұрын
That's what I was wondering if they wear down and eventually get more contact

FINALLY - someone who acknowledges these are slippery wheels. Not enough contact on the ground. They’re dangerous. You need to consider this heavily
@TheRealJohnPat3 жыл бұрын
@SNOW & POW Adventures Grip has to do with ground contact (which clouds have less of) so that’s incorrect - but are you referring to the tread, after they’ve been broken in? Cause that much is true. Clouds are flat out better for going over short grass, bad-ish roads, etc. Because they have better tread, making it more comfortable - but it can’t be confused with Grip! PU wheels are fully contacted…if you carve the same on PU and then clouds, you’re less stable on clouds I think I see what you’re saying, but in general more influencers need to mention the cons of cloudwheels rather than just considering them “in between PU and AT” because that’s misleading. I hardly fall on PUs, and I’ve fallen on clouds when I shouldn’t have, because they’ve slid out, a bunch of times. I don’t want to hear or see people getting hurt bc they want cool-looking wheels on their board and don’t know the risk
@JourneyDreamMovement3 жыл бұрын
I just started riding clouds and slippery is the last word i would describe them with if it's wet PU wheels or most wheels will lose a bit off contact but to say dangerous is not accurate might have just had a bad experience and it depends on the rider.
@TheRealJohnPat3 жыл бұрын
@SNOW & POW Adventures Lol I appreciated this until the last sentence...we didn't need that in this thread. If you think I'm wrong just say so and why, being a jerk doesn't help me or anyone reading. I still think we're talking tread versus grip. The AT ground contact vs PU makes sense, but AT wheels are basically bicycle tires so I think it's apples to oranges. I guess people can buy what they want, but I know I'm not the only one that's felt they can be sketchy on turns vs. PU. It's not a popular stance bc they're a buzz on the internet. Idk man/woman, I'm going off personal exp and a few people who I've ridden with that's all. A few YT channels have mentioned it but they usher it under the rug bc of clouds popularity prob. I think they can be dangerous under certain circumstances a middle/high speeds, if those conditions remained the same with PU wheels
@TheRealJohnPat3 жыл бұрын
@SNOW & POW Adventures fair enough, didn’t know my comment could be taken that way but you know, the internet Yeah idk I’m sure you ride well and have tested. We watched the same video - the maker of which thinks they can be slippery at times which I why I posted my original comment So maybe grip is how you handle the board and not as much an objectively measure able thing for wheels, idk!
@user-ib5mx8ro4k3 жыл бұрын
You guys are both gay. When it comes to grip the rider is the variable not the wheel. I can break stock wheels loose and still maintain control so I guarantee you I can break these wheels loose if I wanted to. I doubt either of you could.

Can some one answer a question for me. In my city most trails are concrete with cracks every square. Are the 105 or 120 better for this application? I hate riding my 90mm street wheels it’s so bumpy and has cause me to break multiple decks at the trucks.
@ElectricSkateboardHQ2 жыл бұрын
Sorry late reply, 120 mm is always better for comfort, but u will have less power.

I've seen in videos how cloud wheels can ride over rocks and pebbles on dirt roads. I'm assuming a part of the reason for that is that the ground gives a little and enables the wheels to roll over them without locking up. However, do cloud wheels handle rocks better than 96mm street wheels on paves roads? I'm about to buy my first board with no skating experience. I'm hoping to minimize my chances of my wheels locking up.

I've had the worst experience so far ordering from these guys. First they sent me the wrong set of wheels. Then one day before the right ones arrived, they changed the address with UPS! They sent them to another province! To another customer I can only guess. asked them why and they just said sorry it was another mistake. Before I made my order I asked them if they could Send express and they said no problem. Here I am almost a month later still no set of wheels. I have the wrong ones which I will send back once the right ones arrive. I want collateral in case they don't arrive although they are useless to me. UPS also failed miserably as they said 100% it was coming to me when I noticed they changed the recipient one day before arrival. Just extremely disappointed E. No idea how it will turn out. Out $220 CAN so far but I will fight it if I get scammed outright.

Be careful ordering from meepo. I ordered the wrong part and immediately emailed them, less than five minutes. I received an email that said they couldn't do anything cause it was shipping out soon. So basically I have to take parts that don't fit my board. I will no longer buy from a company with this kind of service and neither should you.
