Your videos are SOooo satisfying and relaxing to watch! Love them!, even though our homes and styles are very different (I'm colour, quirqy and sort of a maxi minimalist in an ooold house..😅.) Impressed by the quality of your videos too, I feel well taken care of as a viewer and that I suspect that takes a lot of editing.

I been following a lot of Taiwan KZbinr rental flats makeover which can’t drill can’t install anything etc but they had make it really nice too. There’s a quote which I find itvery true. 屋子是别人的, 生活是自己的。 Many will feel it’s only rental why put so much effort in it since it’s not a permanent house. Living conditions really affect one mood. It’s nice coming home to a beautiful home to rest after a hard day out. After I had seen your beautiful DIY. I wonder will you also do DIY like the full kitchen cabinet if u had a BTO flat? Cos Singaporean not very big on DIY. Or maybe too many rules and regulations so can’t do it. By the way I super love all your makeover!! 🥰🥰

@@cloudyhills ohh I feel the disappointment you must've gone through when you realised that it didn't live up to your expectations 🥺 Though I am a bit surprised, since they usually measure every little detail (I'm very partial to Ikea, if it's not already clear 😅), I completely relate and agree with the principle of double checking everything beforehand. Otherwise, it's a week of self-loathing after the biggest mistake of your life 😭 Not in your case though! The end result was *absolutely wonderful* and you wouldn't guess you were initially planning something different ✨

This is amazing, but I'm struck by how you do all of this thinking, researching, comparing options, planning, trial and error, shopping, building, rearranging, etc etc to make such a beautiful home and then say "I'm so blessed, I know", because your husband makes ice. No shade meant at all, I have no doubt your husband is wonderful, supportive and equally as impressive as you are. Just that snippet stood out to me, I am a researcher on the mental load and gender-based domestic labour so that's my lens. Wonderful video, for anyone watching who may build up their partner in this way for small tasks, make sure you big yourself up too!
