MilTec Tactical Combat Boots Review (fantastic!)

⭐⭐ I wouldn't normally do a review of a pair of work boots, but these MilTec Combat Boots, manufactured by Sturm, are well worth reviewing! Having started building work at the house, I dug out a pair of steel toed boots I had and used them, within a day my feet were sore from rubbing and not being supported. That gave me the excuse I needed to by a pair of Tactical/military boots. With these Mil-Tec boots, there was no having to wear them in, from the day they were delivered, they were extremely comfy. My ankles are well supported and the all-round fit of them when the laces are tightened is perfect. I'm having to walk over a lot of uneven ground at the moment and step across beams and with these on, I feel secure in doing it.
Thinsulate, leather and polyester, with a rubber outsole, these are heavy duty but very lightweight boots. (update: 4 years later, the YKK zips are going strong!) A huge recommendation!

don't worry about getting sand/ khaki color because you can always walnut dye them to your taste

I had a pair of the mil tec ones and I think the soles are too soft, I could feel stones through them. They wore thin over a year too. Very comfy for a while but like most military boots, not as good as civvy retail boots.

Oddly I've found quite the contrary. Over the years I've yet to find a pair of 'civvy' boots as good to wear in terms of support, comfort and longevity as either Altberg or Haix military boots. They wouldn't win on a weight contest, but I've always considered that a minimal issue compared to the other factors.

Great, had them on all yesterday funnily enough. No tears or rips, the soles are still fully intact but the main thing for me, from day one, they were really comfy and supporting (I'd broken my foot 3 months before I bought them and wanted something that came high up over the ankle)

I bought 2 pairs in black! These were worn by Sylvester Stallone in Rambo Last Blood! He wore this brand in the last scene when going from the barn to the porch where he sits in the rocking chair. Oh....great boots!!

Bad boots. Even dew makes your socks wet. No comfortable for hiking. Can be used for urban activity, but they are becoming ugly after sometime. Wouldn't buy them again, better pay double and get HAIX. That is really foot wear for any activity.
