i have a theory where clove found out about being immortal beacuse they attempted suicide because of a trauma when they were younger. i think this because it would fit with the sad clove that they find in the dimension where they go when they die. the police tapes are probably because the trauma was their parents being assassinated. while writing this it makes me think of how maybe they found out not becaus of a suicide attempt but perhaps because of the burglar trying to kill them too. but hey thats just a theory A GAME THEORY (i miss matpat)

Agent rotation will never be a thing. The community already hates map rotations, and it would easily be the most uncompetitive change Riot could make. You don't just rotate out chess pieces in chess, so why would they do it in Valorant?

initially i was under the impression that clove's release would be the beginning of agent rotations. clove's util is designed to fill the "duelisty controller" niche that omen has been occupying for a while now. i thought that the arrival of clove would see the departure of omen for lore purposes.

I think the "We could've ruled this world together" as a serious-toned idiom Assuming Astra was right on what everyone in the comment section are saying (Immortality = Ultimate Loneliness), Clove may have meant that they could've been with each other forever (assuming friends by default, cant know everything)

I feel like the first theory seems to be more in line with what we know, it's heavily implied that she's a radiant and her age seems to line up with other valorant agents from the first light event. I find it interesting that clove seems to have a more unique form of a separate plane of existence, with Astra's voiceline we know that Iso and Yoru's form of plane's aren't weird to her or at the very least, not worth pointing out and we know that Clove struggles to return back to the living when she is caught between this plane of life and death, which is possibly what the gold butterfly is for in the cinematic, to prevent herself from simply just sitting in that plane.

I bet their powers come from the Fracture explosion. That could explain why the tear at 4:03 shows chamber aiming down sights with an op, and it would explain why the explosion was so important to valo’s story. Also makes sense because immortality is somewhat of a curse- hence Clove is crying about it. Why else would the tear reflect chamber ADSing with an op?

Like everyone else is saying, I don't think agent rotations will ever happen. Just like Omen recently I think we will have agents leave or even become evil, but they'll always be playable. I mean, Chamber is literally a mass murderer and I don't think that will stay secret forever

@@gxalcremieshiny4229 kind of wrong, he does seem to need to activate the ability as in two cinematics he's shown to tp back to where he activated his ultimate, and while Sage can bring people back from the dead, its heavily implied that she's drawing from some external life force in order to be doing this, and there might be limits as to who she can bring back given her supposed failure with reyna's little sister, forcing viper to take over the experiment

as someone who is learning english, when you say "them" it confuses at some point and for a sec i'm like "wait who is "them" did I miss something in the video ?" And then I remember the non-binary thing. Personnally, I say what comes naturally in my mind at the moment so it's always "she" for me when I'm referring to Clove, it's less complicated for me (and I think it's the case for lots of ppl) and since she's a fictionnal character with no real feelings I will not feel guilty for that. But I'm not saying ppl souldn't say "them" when referring to Clove, say whatever you feel comfortable with just like I do :) Very good video btw

Hold up actually, not having character skins might be a blessing in disguise since you cant spend money on skins for them they can rotate them to make the game feel fresh where as other games like apex and r6 have an ever growing roster eventually it will get dry but valorant one season could have a new character that works well with sage for example too well maybe so next season they take sage out and put a character that doesnt work well with them in to keep the meta fresh
