I use 3m weather strip adhesive. Yellow or black works well .

Been using gasket glue for years never had a problem just a hint! Fold the tyre in half that way it won't act as a plunger and push the glue of the rim! It's not a criticism it's a helpful tip from one racer/builder to another

We now use black gasket sealer made by Versa Chem or any other brand. It seems to hold better. It is a high temp gasket maker for cars, we use the black one just because it looks better.

If you cant find the tire glue you can used rubberized C/A glue.It's usually used in speaker production and repairs

Will that glue work with silicone tyres?

Gilbert we only run silicone tires, we only use Quick Slicks now but that glue works well you can also use silicone gasket material like RTV or Permatex.
